Mountain Haven Retreat: Brand New 8BR/3BA Sleeps 18

This place checked all the boxes for our Thanksgiving with my extended family (13 adults, one teen. Enough bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen to cook dinner, and a game room for entertainment. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, especially seeing all the deer that are everywhere!! The host was very responsive, including responding to an issue we had on Thanksgiving day. A few things could be improved: The upstairs couch cushion was very lumpy and uncomfortable to sit on. The side cushions on the downstairs sofa were ripped. A few of the bar stools downstairs in the game room had some sharp metal pieces sticking out on the seats (which could be dangerous). We could not find balls for the foosball table, and chalk and one ball for the pool table were missing, which was too close to the wall for proper play. The beds were not the most comfortable, but it was made worse by the sheets of plastic covering the mattresses on a few of the king size beds (not the kids’ bunks). Very cool elaborate showers with multiple jets, but could use instructions! There were a few essential kitchen items missing - namely a working can opener (our poor cranberry sauce) and a baking sheet. One more thing to note - the dining table only accommodates 10, which seems like a lot, but not for a place that sleeps more than that. There are outside chairs that can brought in, and there was a folding table outside that could accommodate a few more. We brought our own folding chairs and table after asking.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was very responsive and made everything easy for us, from check-in to local recommendations. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed but still quiet and relaxing. We especially loved [wood fired places in backyard] view, spacious rooms, cozy atmosphere, etc.]. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

We enjoyed our time in the house. The location is perfect for many activities. Best of all the owner was very attentive to all of our needs and I thank him very much.I would highly recommend this home.

If you're looking for a quiet place to get away from the noise of city life for a couple of days, this is a great spot.

Overall we had a great stay. There was enough room for all 11 of us. The pool table and arcade games were enjoyed by the teenagers and young adults. For the price point we expected a more of a grand or luxury experience that this location did not provide. It needs some maintenance and updated provisions. For example painting, hole in a bedroom ceiling, new pots and some of the couches now have sink holes from use. It is very close to the water parks, grocery and outlets which I’m sure influences the price but there’s an opportunity for some needed updates.

Maintenance of the house needs attention. A hole in the ceiling, paint peeling from water damage, pool table not level, nails, protruding from island, no fire alarms located downstairs, and bull noses on stairs missing. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and the owner was very responsive to emails.

The photos on the website are quite misleading, as the house is neither luxurious nor spacious. The property itself is rather small. While it is in reasonably good condition, there are several visible repairs that need attention. Given the price we paid, I expected significantly more and was somewhat disappointed with the overall value.

From the time I booked until the end of my stay, our host was communicative, accommodating, and very gracious. The house and property are beyond expectations. Highly recommend.

This property was clean and had lots of bedrooms for our big family. The pictures were accurate and we loved gathering in the family room and kitchen. The owner was prompt with responding to questions and readily available and helpful. Only problems were that the line to get a permit to get into the neighborhood was very long at times, maybe because of the holidays. Also, there are many bedrooms on the bottom floor of the house with only one bathroom. Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

Yuriy has been such a great host during our stay and even before! Very understanding and the house was great for our group.

The homeowner was super responsive and easy to communicate with. She was very helpful. The property had everything we needed. The only thing we were missing were potholders for the oven (but maybe we just didn't find them). The arcade area was fun for kids of all ages and even adults. There was plenty of outdoor seating, which we really appreciated. The property could use one extra outdoor trash can if that's allowed. Overall a great stay and the home was new and appealing!
