Mountain Farmhouse, convenient location & family farm

A long weekend trip for my husband and me to visit the Apple Festival in Hendersonville. August 30 -September 1. Thank goodness we had the Mountain Farmhouse because the festival was so crowded and hot that we left and came back to the house. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The view is beautiful. The house was well furnished, clean and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer! We plan to return as soon as we can get away again.

Great place to stay if you want to be close to a lot of outdoor activities.

This is our second time to stay in the Pisgah Forest home. It is absolutely spectacular! The home is extremely spacious and beautiful and the property is gorgeous. Alisha is a wonderful host and always easy to communicate with. Our family loves the opportunity to stay in this home and will definitely be back. The chickens and horses are an added bonus:). Thank you!

It is a gem of a find... tucked in the middle of Pisgah where Google Maps gets you the wrong destination (follow directions from the owner or better yet; get directions or trust your instincts)... Otherwise a peaceful quiet place to relax and unwind... will definitely stay again.

This farmhouse was great for our group of nine mixture of adults and teenagers the rocking chairs on the porch were great for watching the horses in the pasture super close to Asheville airport less than 20 minutes and right down the street from Pisgah Forest post was super friendly and helpful would definitely stay here again

This property was amazing. The VRBO photos do not do it justice. The home is well appointed, clean and perfect for families. My girls loved the horses, chickens and wild rabbits. Alisha was helpful in recommending local activities and restaurants. Blue Smoke BBQ was some of the best we’ve had. Rocky’s Soda Shop was a great experience also. This home is close to numerous waterfalls and Sliding Rock. The front porch views were perfect.

This property is wonderful. The view from the back porch is amazing and my grandkids loved interacting with all the farm animals. Would definitely recommend this house!!

What a treasure! We loved everything about the Mountain Farmhouse! It was very comfortable for our family; we had a group of 11 including children and grandparents and everyone had a great time. It was well marked driving in (along with the emailed directions) and Alicia was so prompt and helpful with answering any questions. We hope to stay here again soon. What a beautiful and cozy home.

This was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing getaways we’ve had in a long time. Two families with children between 3.5-9 years old came for a long weekend. The adults and children were really excited to be able to be so hands on with the horses, chickens, and ducks. The house was incredibly well stocked and the room layout was perfect for two families. We also really enjoyed all of the fresh eggs! The kids spent most of their time in the pasture loving on the horses and feeding blueberries to the chickens. Communication with the owner was always prompt and informative. We are already looking forward to coming back for another visit.
