Stayed Dec 27, 2025The host was responsive and easy to get a hold of. We enjoyed the games, playground and putt putt course. The rugs, and couch are heavily stained. All of the grills need replaced. Orher then that the house was clean and well appointed

Stayed May 23, 2025This property has a lot of charm & potential. My husband & I were in town for a wedding nearby on Memorial Day weekend. We stayed here for 3 nights. This property is VERY remote. We knew this going into our trip, but didn’t realize how truly remote it is. Luckily we drove our truck, but the private gravel driveway to the house was quite difficult & seems it may have been recently washed away a bit by heavy storms. It could be very dangerous at night or if not familiar with driving these types of roads. There was no cell service in the area (which we expected) but the satellite WiFi did not work for the entirety of our stay. This was frustrating as it made any outside communication impossible. I believe these things should be more clearly stated on the listing. The cleanliness of the kitchen & bathrooms were good, however the provided bed linens were not very clean. Luckily we had brought our own sheets and towels. This said, the house was stocked with essential cleaning items and a few staple toiletries which was helpful. The cabin itself has a ton of charm, unique & cool amenities, and a very cozy feel. The outdoor amenities are great, but really needed to be cleaned up/maintained to enjoy them. This is a really unique stay. But the listing should set proper expectations by stating clearly the remote location, lack of cell service and (extremely) unreliable WiFi. ***Please fix the gravel driveway to the cabin ASAP. It needs to be leveled; It is currently dangerous***

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved it! This was probably one of our favorites and will come back. The location while remote, allowed us to access most the locations we were seeking including route 64, the Smokey Mountains Parkway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, among other great sites! It does take some time to get to anything grocery related approx 30 mins to Sylvia, so come prepared! It was just overall wonderful!

Stayed Jun 13, 2024We were very pleased with this rental. It was a beautifully built and a well-maintained home. We were there for a wedding, so we were not on property a lot but when we were there it was quiet and comfortable. I would like to go back someday and spend a few quiet days on property uninterrupted. We had a car, and the driveway is a little steep, but it worked. We had nice weather so if I went back, I would probably rent an SUV just n case.

Stayed May 9, 2024Timberwolf was a great, very clean and comfortable get away for the family. The home was beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated and well laid out for spending time with family and friends. The drive to Timberwolf was rural and scenic, although a bit curvey and narrow. I recommend making the drive while the sun is still shining.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Timberwolf is a beautiful cabin. We enjoyed just being there. There was so much to do. Loved the Putt Putt, corn hole, air hockey, and games. The treasure hunt was fun too. We did a lot of hiking around Glenville, Cashiers, and Bryson City. We would definitely recommend this cabin.

Stayed Mar 18, 2024The cabin was cozy, quiet, clean and a great place to spend with family especially with young kids. It was easy to find with the help of other reviews that said to turn down LAKEVIEW drive instead of quilt rd. The WiFi was spotty which may need a little help making it stronger. Loved all the books and old school movie dvd selection and the treasure hunt. Kids had a blast! My only suggestion is to try and organize the games between stays because some of game pieces weren’t packed up right and hard to enjoy. I know that would be time consuming for cleaners every visit especially if there are a lot of kids staying at the place and hard to keep up with the extra mess haha!
