Lake Side Condo - Resort Condo In Bear Lake Reserve, Lake Views

This is our 4th year visiting Bear Lake and 2nd time staying in this home. The home was extremely comfortable and the view is fantastic.

Condo was great overall. Could stand to use some updating, especially the cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. Very firm mattresses. But THE VIEW and proximity to the lake was what we came for and it did not disappoint. Lake Lodge: We’ve been to Bear Lake many times and always enjoyed the Lake Lodge. This time it seemed to be showing a lot of wear and tear. Garbage piled up, broken chairs and umbrella stands, and the staff were inexperienced. Food and drinks were sub par. Sad.

Excellent/beautiful location

It was better than we expected. The location on the mountain was ideal. The view from the porch was breathtaking. We had everything we needed and more in the kitchen. The unit was clean and well appointed. I can’t wait to come back.

The condo is perfectly situated next to the lake house, and is a lovely home, however the 4.7 mile drive through the mountains is not for the faint of heart. It is black bear country so we were leary to hike and since it was spring the bumble bees were everywhere which was a bit unsettling on the balcony. Despite the bears, bees and insane road - it was a lovely stay.

This is our 2nd visit to Bear Rock and had a great time! The house was clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed the views! The kitchen had basically everything we needed---would have like a Keurig single cup coffee machine, but we managed---and had what we needed to make meals. It is a short drive to the Lake House where we spent most of our time. I would not recommend walking--- even though it looks like a short walk--- due to the terrain. At night, there were lots of games at the house that we had fun playing. I forgot about the movie room at the lake house and we didn't think to reserve it. We definitely will next time! The beds were incredibly comfortable! I am still giving this a 5 star because the one negative I do have is on the Reserve's side and not the host's: We were there in mid August; so, still summertime. We had one day where the poolside bar and food were available. The other four days, we had to go inside---which requires that you put on clothing and shoes---soaking wet from the pool if we wanted to get anything. Plus, they wouldn't bring the food or drinks down to us. The coffee bar also wasn't open except for one of the days; we were told we'd have to find someone in the morning to make a drink and open the store. We also had to find someone to clean the pool before we could get in it. Since the Lake Club is 99% of why we came, it was a bummer than not all of the amenities were available and that customer service was no longer a priority.
