We were very pleased with how clean the property was. The sleeping arrangements were ideal for the 5 of us. Three adults and two adult children. Two full baths were a big help as well. The living room dining room were large and had a nice open concept so we could all mingle in the same area. Super super close to Big Bear which was a nice quiet area. Thank you for sharing your home.

It was clean and basic. Not far from the slopes. The management communication was poor. The person answering the phone when we had an issue was nice but said I would receive a call back from the manager. I never did and late the next day I went to the office and the manager was very negative and adversarial.

We enjoyed our overall stay at the cabin and appreciated that everything was functioning well during our visit. The location was great and the cabin itself was comfortable, which made for a nice weekend getaway. However, there were a couple of concerns that need attention. First, the sign on the chimney was outdated. It instructed us to “pull the chain” to open it, but there was no chain at all. When we called the leasing office for help, we were initially told there was a chain. After I explained again and sent a photo showing there wasn't, I was asked if we could wait until the next day for maintenance. Since we were only staying a couple of nights and wanted to use all the amenities, that wasn't ideal. Maintenance did eventually come out the same evening and confirmed the chimney was already open, but the outdated instructions caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. The second issue was cleanliness. The cabin didn't feel thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The floors felt sandy, we found a dirty dish in one of the cabinets, and the outside of the chimney had not been wiped down and had noticeable ash buildup. These details took away from the experience. We love visiting Big Bear every year and really want to continue enjoying stays like this, but a clean cabin with updated signage would make a big difference. With a little more attention to these areas, this could be a great place to stay.

This was such a sweet and cozy cabin! We loved our stay here, and the cabin is located in a perfect spot to get to the village and Snow Summit. The cabin is decorated with little bears that make it super cute! The fireplace was a special highlight while we sipped hot chocolate and watched The Sound of Music on evening. The only thing - but did not interfere with the stay - cleaner rugs in the bathrooms and more pillows when sleeping. You will love the cabin! :)

I have been renting from cool cabins for about 3-4 years mainly the same cabin, because I love it so much. I love the service, cabins are super clean, whenever we have needed help with hut tub ....they are very responsive and have come and resolved issues in about 1-2 hours , customer service is awesome!! however in the last 2 years I have not been able to get an early check in. I travel with dogs and I used to be able to get in early for an affordable fee .their policy now is 4 pm check in and when traveling from out of town with family and dogs its difficult. this is an added stress to my first day of my holiday trip, so may be a deal breaker in the future. specially with more options being open due to economy. maybe they could develop a frequent renter program with perks with free early checking with minimum stay? this would absolutely seal my deal with this company

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was clean, super cute and cozy. The check in process was a little frustrating as they wanted to charge us for arriving just an hour early, even though the cabin was ready for us. That was unfortunate. The power went out in the neighborhood while we were there and there were no matches/lighters, candles, or lanterns in the cabin so we were in the dark for a while. Would’ve been nice for them to have that stuff for emergencies. Other than that the stay was great!

Very suitable for four people. Very clean and well equipped. My only disappointment was that there is no shade for the back porch, which is exposed to direct sunlight most of the day. There is a patio table with a hole in the center, but no umbrella.

Nice and clean. Spa was very foamy. Key for spa was not in lock box, found it on kitchen window sill. Could use a larger microwave, however, it was a great escape from the heat. Thanks

The cabin and location was great! The only problem we had was the loud heater.
