Stayed Jan 1, 2026This was an amazing property to stay at! All rooms were very comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and have meals. Even the bathrooms were well stocked making us feel like if we forgot anything, the host had us covered. The casita and studio were great for family members to spread out and have their own space and the main house has a perfect living and dining area for everyone to gather for meals, games and entertainment. The kids loved the spa and the areas outside are perfectly set-up for star gazing. The property is in an area where you need to drive up dirt roads and with the rains, the ride was a little bumpy but not impossible to drive along. We definitely will plan to rent this property again when visiting Joshua Tree!

Stayed Mar 8, 2025We all enjoyed the stay. Hiking around the property, soaking in hot tub, having meals outside. Unfortunately fire pit was not working, we would have enjoyed staying outside longer into the night. Would suggest clearer off road directions to the property. Overall a beautiful location & a great time by all. Would love to come back sometime.

Stayed Feb 23, 2025What an awesome “compound” nestled against gorgeous Joshua Tree rocks and surrounded by outstanding landscaping. We had two couples and one single adult and enjoyed being able to spread out or come together as we chose. The kitchen was beautiful and generously stocked with dishes, silverware, pots & pans and glasses. The main house, guest house (casitas) and separate room were all decorated nicely and with style. The property has a small pond in the back with an outdoor dining area above it, and we enjoyed watching the wildlife from the backyard areas. Only negatives were the directions and lack of street signage. Need to be more explicit about not using any map apps for the last part of the journey AND EXPLAIN WHY. The various map apps will take you to a locked gate down a very narrow dirt road that you have to back down from. There is an another very narrow dirt road that you have to turn left on (Larkspur Lane) from Rincon Road that has no sign. Maybe give exact mileage from where you turn off of Quail Springs Road to Rincon Road. From Rincon Road to Larkspur Lane (which has no sign) and from Larkspur Lane to Wagon Wheel Road, etc.

Stayed Jan 15, 2025Lovely home with 3 separate (but attached) units, making it an ideal location for multi generational families of 3 - 4 couples. The location is a bit remote but a close drive to the park gate or into Joshua Tree town. Ate great meals at Crossroads Cafe and Sky High Pie and went on some amazing hikes in the park. Would definitely recommend the home - a few more towels/linens would be great especially if you are a large group. Note no washer/dryer and clothes get dirty and dusty when hiking so bring multiples.

Stayed Apr 6, 2024While it took us a bit of time to find our way to the property, it was worth it! There were hidden gems about the property that we were discovering until the morning we left. We appreciated the thoughtful layout, decor, and cleanliness of the houses. My only suggestion would be to make the smaller unit as marvelous as the other 2 units. We are looking forward to a longer stay there ( we were there only 1 night) in the future.

Stayed Mar 14, 2024Our visit to the Moonbeam Mountain house was spectacular. The house had everything you need and more. We all wish we could have stayed longer. Loved our walks out the backdoor into the boulders and even hot tubbing in the rain! The layout of the home is perfect for guests who love to come together but also can get some space when they need it. Def would recommend and will be back. Thanks for the awesome stay!

Stayed Sep 15, 2023We really enjoyed the property. Its stylish , comfortable, and private. Great grounds with koi pond , jacuzzi, lots of comfortable outdoor seating. Its near the park entrance for Joshua Tree, and close to town, yet semi secluded. My family and i loved our stay there.
