Moon Lake Waterfront Getaway

Spent a few days over Christmas and had a lovely quiet time away from everything. We were able to clear a spot on lake and play hockey and enjoyed the hot tub and family time, games, and movies. The house suited us perfectly and definitely had everything we needed. Nice to come with just food and clothes and have everything else available. Lewiston is a neat town and enjoyed a couple hours there too. Host was easy to work with and answered our questions before our stay quickly.

Had some issues with the property that were promptly fixed. Great location for our trip and an overall good experience.

Clean, exactly as advertised!

We had a great stay at this property! Gordon responds quickly to any questions and everything was as described. We enjoyed the pool down the street, using the kayaks and having bonfires. The guys caught some bass and the kids caught turtles and frogs. The beds were super comfortable and the everything was well stocked.

Great stay! The house was perfect for our family with awesome accommodations. Beautiful views on the property. The kids loved the lake both fishing and swimming. The hot tub and community pool were a great bonus too. We definitely want to return!

Anniversary weekend, very nice comfortable house on the lake! Best house I've booked on vrbo.Owner has this place well stocked and clean.Caught some fish off the dock,strolled around the lake in the kayaks.Enjoyed a soak in the jacuzzi every night.Bed was comfortable,Area was very peaceful and quiet.Highly recommended, will book again next year.

This house was a great vacation spot for our family! We especially enjoyed the community pool as well as the private bonfire pit.

The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. (The lake community had fireworks, which we mostly missed since we were watching fireworks elsewhere, but we enjoyed the little bit of the ones we saw at Moon Lake. Once the show was over, all returned to quiet.) Gordon was great to work with. We'd rent again!

We came to this cabin for 8 days to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was beautiful and cozy with a beautiful view of Moon Lake. The bird show all week was quite impressive! There were a lot of woodpeckers, including pileated and red headed. Also, orioles, rose breasted grosbeaks, chickadees, tanagers, and of course the beautiful loons who answered our calls. The weather was very uncooperative and the gnats made it hard to stay outside for long, but we made the best of it. Played cards and board games, and got very competitive with Shut the Box! Lewiston and the surrounding area is beautiful lake country. We enjoyed some very nice restaurants, especially Lewiston Lodge which is located right on beautiful East Twin Lake! We took a road trip to Alpena and drove up the scenic road all the way to Black Lake. That was a very memorable vacation spot for me growing up! Again the cabin was everything we hoped for with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable!! Would love to experience it all in the summer weather! The view of the lake is amazing, and the cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed the family games, watching fish from the dock, and how quickly Gordon answered any questions we had. We'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy house.

My brother and I brought our adult sons up for the firearms deer opener. We had a short stay, but the cabin was roomy and had all the amenities we could ask for. Well equipped kitchen with all the small appliances a family could want. Very good internet capability so we were able to watch the fights on Netflix. Also our host let us know in advance that a new hot-tub had been installed outside on back walkout where our sons spent some nice time relaxing with a perfect view of the lake! Great experience overall. Highly recommend this place any time of the year. Hope to be back again for sure.

This is a fantastic home to rent to get away from hustle Of life and experience nature and the beauty of the lake With mist Rising from the water in the early morning. The magic of the natural things in life will reveal itself to you, and you will be able to reset yourself from the confusion of life. I recommend this home and hope you will enjoy all the benefits it provides

It was very relaxing and definitely what my family was hoping for! The cottage has everything you need as a home away from home. The lake is peaceful and fun to kayak on. We will definitely be back!

We all enjoyed the lake and pool.

This was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed. Communication is quick and easy. We even got recommendations for a festival during our stay. Lake is beautiful and in a friendly very safe neighborhood. Plenty of pool towels were provided. There are some dirt roads in the area, but these can be avoided. Wonderful relaxing stay. My teens loved fishing and kayaking on the lake.
