Mondello: two rooms 300 meters from the sea

Perfect spot for a winter week of sunshine. Perfect host who checked on our comfort regularly during our stay, and organised taxis when needed. Great situation, just 5 mins walk to everything. All amenities were there for the two of us. Thanks Roberta

Communication from beginning to end very good. Roberta had purchased a few grocery items that awaited my arrival which I was grateful for because after long hours of flying I just wanted to sleep. She met me at the train station, drove me to the property and showed me how everything works. She arranged for a taxi to take me grocery shopping the next day and then she picked me up and took me back to my “home”. She was very responsive anytime I had a question or suggestion. She even helped me find a doctor when I unexpectantly became incapacitated, arranged for transportation to the doctor, and helped me cancel all of my accommodations, tours and car rental that I had booked for a couple weeks down the road as I was unable to keep them. The property is nice for a couple and has a couch that opens out into a bed for 2 more, although you’d need to close up that bed every day to be able to move around in the living space. Small table for dining, limited counter space, fridge and freezer, washer & dryer, nice shower, extra linens. Bottom line: it was perfect for me and Roberta went above and beyond to assist in all ways. Btw, very nice patio with large table, chairs, umbrella and additional seating.

Our stay at Roberta’s house has been amazing. The house is very clean, has a fabulous outdoor space and is very well situated. The beach, restaurants and supermarkets are in walking distance. Roberta is a great host. The communication has been easy and she was a great help with transfers to Mondellos and also recommendations for restaurants, etc. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely book again!

This location is ideal for walking to the lovely beach in five minutes and also to the bus stop which takes you into downtown Palermo for a fare of Euro 1.40. The owner was very gracious in greeting us on arrival and showing us around Mondello.
