Mona House is a 4 bedroom Victorian terraced house sleeping 8 people in 4 bedrooms with flexible sleeping arrangements. It is a 3 minute level walk from the town centre, 10 minutes from the lake and within a short walk of the play parks, cycle track etc. We have set the house up to be used as we use it - as a base to enjoy The Lakes' outdoors. Stayed Dec 5, 2025This is the best house we have stayed in! The quality of everything was first class, plenty of crockery and utensils, easy to use washing machine and dishwasher. It was cosy during a very wet weekend with comfortable beds. Our host Nigel kept us fully informed and was easily contacted.

Stayed Sep 15, 2025Great location with a very short walk to town centre and Derwent Water. It was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Parking did not seem to be a problem. Communication with Nigel was excellent and felt very welcome.

Stayed Jun 17, 2019The property is in excellent conditions and under 5 mins to the town centre. Located in a residential street with good on street parking. The bedrooms were all good size and the owner had left lots of maps and leaflets for activities in the area including walks , cycling, lake activities etc. This was an ideal base and Keswick is a great town with lots of restaurants/bar meals to suit all budgets. For groups or 2 families this would make an ideal base.

Stayed May 9, 2019Just left Mona house, it was better than expected ,very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of room and best of all fully supplied kitchen with everything you could need to cook for 8-10 people. Just a few min walk from Main Street too. We had wonderful weather and loved Keswick too. Nigel was a great communicator too! We would definitely stay here again and recommend Mona House to anyone!

Stayed Mar 22, 2019We loved our stay at Mona House. The property was large and really well equipped for our two families, totalling 9 people. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. The property is also well located, very near to the centre of Keswick with all its charming shops and facilities. Thanks so much, we are already planning our return.
