Architecturally the house is fantastic. And it’s been well decorated with period decor. But the general maintenance has been overlooked in the bathrooms in particular. Dripping shower faucet, limescale in shower, electrical cords taped to the floor, holes in the back of doors where hooks haven’t been replaced. The beds were comfortable and sheets were clean but it was unclear when the last time the heavy cloth blankets on the beds were laundered. While I fully anticipated and welcomed the quirks of staying in an older house, this just felt tired beyond just its years and more just from sheer neglect.

Loved this house and hated to leave! The mid century design and the period appropriate furnishings and decor made this such a neat stay. Beds are super comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed, and plenty of space for our group to feel right at home both indoors and outdoors. The only downside was the pool heater needed serviced so the water temp was pretty chilly. It was likely the first time this fall that a guest had tried to heat the pool and the host was doing his best to get it repaired during our weekend stay and I appreciated his efforts.

Our stay was with 4 adults, all 30 and over. No kids. This may not be great choice for young children due to the number of historical items in the house, unless precautions are taken. First, the basics: the home was super-clean, expertly decorated, with supplies and kitchen equipment galore. The air conditioning system worked perfectly. Check in and check out were a breeze. But there is so much more! The very private pool was a delight, with lots of space to float or swim, going down to 7 feet deep. It was an honor to stay at this exquisite Twin Palms Mid-Century Modern home. It truly embodies the Palm Springs lifestyle aesthetic in the home, by the pool, and even touring the neighborhood. Ray Bradbury mementos abound.Would recommend to anyone in love with classic Palm Springs.

Love that the house still has much of the original charm and it always feels like we are stepping back in time when we stay here. The Bradbury house far exceeded my expectations! The owners keep it beautifully maintained in the spirit of Ray Bradbury, with modern touches. The pool area is beautiful. There were towels, linens, and kitchen equipment to satisfy all of our needs. The owners are always available if there is a question. I cannot say enough about my stay here, and will return as soon as the opportunity arises.

We had a great time staying at the Bradbury House. It was a bit like stepping back in time. The decor was amazing and the room were comfortable for 3 adults. My only note would be that it was a bit worn in places but some of that is just to be expected from the age of the house. But, overall, great stay.

My daughter and I enjoyed a two day/night’s stay at this architectural and historical treasure. The property is beautifully maintained and would most definitely make William Krisel and Ray Bradbury proud! Staying here felt like walking into a dream and waking up in the beauty of the breathtaking past. I highly recommend a stay here, especially if you’re a nostalgia buff like me!
