Modern Waterfront Home on Lake Hamilton – Perfect for Families or Couples

Nice, quiet getaway. Exactly what we were looking for.

The upper level of this lake house is beautifully designed. The upper level could use another sofa and chair to accommodate 5-6 adults. Currently, there is a rather small sofa and 1 chair in the living room area. The kitchen has all the amenities one could need. The upper-level bathroom is large, but take extra toilet paper and be prepared to wash a load of bathroom towels during your stay. The bottom level of this house was very disappointing and not what we expected for the price. The 2 bedrooms on the lower level can only be reached by going out the front door and walking down to them, or going down the stairs of the upper-level deck, making them isolated from the upper-level area of the house. The bedroom with 2 twin beds is narrow (imagine 2 twin beds lined up head-to-head against the wall, with maybe 5-6 feet to the other wall). The second bedroom is a small (for the price), square room with a full-size bed. There is an adequately sized bathroom between the 2 bedrooms, but the shower stall is small. The grounds and outdoor deck are beautiful, but could be difficult to walk down to if you have an older or disabled person with you. Ultimately, we enjoyed our stay very much. Even though I read all the reviews before renting, I thought being more detailed in this review about the lower level would have been helpful to our particular group, composed of 40-70 year-old individuals.

The property was Very clean and beautiful

Amazing property with a beautiful lake view. It was very spacious. The only down fall was there wasn't a microwave or air fryer available to warm up food after a long day at work. I will book again but will definitely pack an air fryer.

This was our third stay at the pet-friendly Hot Springs Lake Home. As always, it provided a great home base to explore Hot Springs. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the geese and ducks. At sunset, we saw fireflies. The host leaves clear instructions for locking the door, using the Keurig, etc. which is very helpful. They also provide body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathroom, which is nice in case we forget something. The host provides YouTube TV, or you can sign into your Netflix or Prime accounts on the smartTV. At checkout, there is no lengthy to-do list- just take out the trash, start the dishwasher, and lock up. We hope to stay again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The kitchen was fully equipped. The area was so peaceful on the lake, and just a quick drive to downtown.When I made the reservation, I didn’t realize the downstairs bedrooms were only accessible through an exterior entrance, and I was nervous about it once I realized that. But with an adjustment to our family’s sleeping arrangement, it all worked out well, and ended up not being a problem.

We enjoyed this house very much! We have teenagers who loved their privacy downstairs. The sunrise in the morning on the lake was spectacular. This house is stocked with everything you can need during your vacation.

Our host was very attentive. The house is great. It's close to restaurants, activities, entertainment, etc. It's a very quiet neighborhood. At night it's so peaceful. The downstairs being separate from upstairs was great for us (we traveled with our two teenagers so they had their privacy and we had ours, when needed). We would definitely recommend staying here and we're already working on booking our next visit next year.

There is a BIG difference staying at VRBO or “the other one” being managed by a professional vs. just someone trying to rent out their place. The care and consideration that went into the space and amenities is apparent from the check-in process to the make-up towel. The instructions for all the devices were super helpful, and though we had some user error on the AC/Heat everything was clear and an easy transition from home.The kitchen is impressively equipped with modern appliances and the cookware, flatware and dishes needed to cook a large meal. We didn’t get a chance to use it for more than eggs but I could have easily made every meal in-house.The outside area is beautifully landscaped, plenty of grass for the pups, and the lakeside dock and boardwalk are beautiful places to watch the Canadian Geese as the sun sets across the lake.Conveniently located in the middle of town both door dash, Instacart and Walmart delivery all deliver and all they need to know is that when they turn down the driveway it’s the house in the middle that has a 1 on the door. We had dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf one night and though I’d always thought this place was kind of touristy, the trigger fish and crab cakes were delicious, service was great, and the ambiance was beautiful.As a traveler with pets, finding suitable places that can accommodate can be challenging but the tile floor and easy access to outside make this a perfect place to stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Darling house that is well stocked with kitchen necessities. Close to a Main Street so getting anywhere was very easy. Lovely outdoor space, and very relaxing and peaceful.

This property is wonderful. It was our second time staying here. The location is perfect for our family. Close to marinas, restaurants, and groceries. We spent all day on the deck and in the water. It’s very clean and the owner is great! We will be back.

5 adults and 2 dogs spent 5 nights in this outstanding home on Lake Hamilton. We had brought floats and spent about 2 hours each morning in the water before it got too hot. When you look across the lake, you could be far from the busy world. Truth is, the grocery store is .7 miles away and there are restaurants even closer. It was nice and quiet. This house is one of the best equipped VRBOs we have ever rented. The kitchen has SHARP knives! Cabinets contained plenty of glasses, dishes and pots/pans. The closets have hangars. The WIFI even worked when you were relaxing in an Adirondack chair by the lake. YouTube TV was great. Everything was great. If I had one wish it would be for the other short people in the world. A step stool would have enabled me to open the blinds in the kitchen. And the dryer is pretty high too. We would stay here again.

Such a beautiful setup! Perfect access to the lake in a quaint little cove. The hosts are extremely responsive and kind. We loved our weekend getaway as we have never been to hot springs. We will definitely return and hope this home is available. It is such a little piece of paradise.

This was our second visit to this property and it was just as lovely the second time. It is very close to Oaklawn and there are tons of places to eat nearby. We had a great time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walking in and just taking in the views set the tone of our stay. It was just so serene and relaxing. Hot Springs was a charming town with lots of character and a unique history. Our favorite though was the lake house. We loved hanging out on the deck watching boaters and playing board games.

The house was very clean and comfortable! The tea kettle was missing, but other than that the kitchen was very well equipped. We enjoyed the afternoon and evenings on the deck where we could view the lake.

From start to finish, the experience was well managed. Great communication, clean home, well stocked and exactly as advertised. It's also in a great central location. Could not recommend it more.

This is a fantastic lake front property! Well-designed, well-stocked, and very comfortable. It's an excellent choice for a family with older kids as the upper level with master bedroom is a separate entry from the lower level with two bedrooms. We will definitely stay here again if future travel brings us back to Hot Springs.

This modern Home with all the things you need was very close to town. We lacked nothing and let me tell you the master bed was comfortable!

Everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay. Communication with host was excellent. It would have been nice to have a small fire pit to sit outside by the chairs and enjoy the cool weather.

The property was in the perfect location to Hot Springs. The view of the lake was great. House is very cute and very clean. The only downside for us was the 2 other bedrooms being in the basement area with a seperate entrance. We would have preferred to be all on the same level. Other than that communication with the owner was great. The house was very clean, which is always my main concern. Would definitely recommend. intraa

We enjoyed our stay! The home was very clean and well organized. We were able to chat with our host easily. Our only challenge was the home layout since the main floor and lower level are disconnected. This made it a little tricky for one of our children (she was just scared and ended up staying on the main floor sofa.

This was our second stay at the Lake House, and we enjoyed it very much. The house is very clean and well stocked with all the necessities (soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc). All appliances, fixtures, and electronics are in great condition. The location is peaceful, yet very close to shopping and dining options. We appreciated being able to bring our dog Sarge along. Communication with the host was clear and prompt. We are already planning visit #3!
