Property is in a fantastic location and was very comfortable
We had a group of 7 people in Boston for a long weekend. Transit was just a block away and easy to get into and out of downtown. The 2 story apartment was plenty big for our group to have space to relax and enjoy while we were there. The property managers were great to work with and so very responsive before, during, and after our stay!! Definitely recommend this property!
Wonderful apartment in great neighborhood. Super quick walk to green line, east walk to groceries stores/restaurants/bars. Excellent communication with property team. Also wonderful amentities left for guests
Everything about our stay in this Modern Town home in Brookline was a pleasure, from the check-in to check-out. Kama was super quick to respond to any questions we had, and she made every effort to make sure everything went smoothly. We received detailed and complete information about everything - how to get from the airport to the unit, check-in, the unit itself, check-out. There was even a binder with nearby stores and restaurants and more. The location of the unit is fantastic! We were steps from the T and half a block from the bus stop. We found several restaurants in the neighborhood that we really enjoyed, and there were still more to try! Upon entering the unit, we were greeted with a delightful welcome basket. Everything was as described. We did not actually cook, but the kitchen had everything we needed for morning coffee and take-out dinners. The were plenty of towels and supplies in the bathrooms. (If you plan to do laundry, bring quarters. ) Modern Town home was perfect for our group of four with room to congregate and also space to spread out. I would not hesitate recommending staying here (or anywhere else Kama hosts).
I stayed in this house with 7 of my running teammates for Boston Marathon weekend. It was great! The house is large and conveniently located right around the corner from the Brookline Village stop on the Green Line. It was super easy to get downtown for the race and we all loved the location. Kama was very responsive when communicating in the VRBO app. I also loved the very detailed welcome packet and instructions that were sent ahead of time. I will definitely keep this house in mind if I come back to Boston for the marathon next year!
Overall great stay for Christmas with the family!
This was my first time booking a rental through Vrbo, and Kama made this an excellent experience for me. The apartment was exactly as listed, the check-in process was seamless and Kama was there to support me every step of the way. The rooms were cozy, the apartment was very spacious, clean and at a prime spot to access the T line and get to Boston super quick. I will definitely be coming to this apartment again. Thanks Kama!
Great location in Brookline and easy walk to Green line T station to get into the city. The unit was nice and spacious. Very well stocked with necessities. Parking spot in rear (for $15/night) was also convenient. The lower floor queen bed was very uncomfortable and this negatively affected my 10 day stay. I recommend replacing it. Our check in process was not smooth and we were not able to get in on time due to extra cleaning needed from the prior guests. This was frustrating after a long drive with children. The unit also had some minor damage from these guests. Bad luck for us I guess, but these are the reasons for the lower rating.
I don’t know how these people have been able to finagle their 5 star ratings. The pictures look amazing and this looks like a beautiful apartment, which it is, but the furniture is awful. There is no white couch and chair in the LR. In their place is a large blue couch, a college student probably left on the curb, that feels like it’s going to break any minute. Same for the brown couch. Bother very uncomfortable. The pretty red rug in the picture is actually a dirty looking maroon rug Also every chair at the scratched dining table feels like at least one leg is going to break off. The online pictures make every area seem bigger and better than it is. Also while starting to cook Easter dinner there, the sink became clogged. We thought it was a garbage disposal problem, and they did send over a handyman. It turns out the pipe under the sink was broken and clogged with a disgusting black sludge like substance they kept pulling out of the pipes. At one point there was a toilet plunger coming out of the sink that was filled with black stuff as well as a bowl filled with that stuff under the sink. Nasty!! A real plumber probably could have fixed. These repair folks were watching videos on their phone trying to repair. They were there for 4-5 hours. All this time we’re all wearing masks and trying to prepare a meal with two workers in the kitchen and no running water there. We asked if they couldn’t fix it in an hour could they come back after we had checked out, but they refused. We eventually left earlier than we wanted - it was not fixed. We asked for a refund of that one day (we had stayed for three) they declined and accused us of breaking the garbage disposal. It wasn’t even a disposal problem. Stay here if you want them to charge you for the next item that breaks. It was a very unpleasant and disappointing experience.
Great location with access to everything you could want and need. Spacious, with loads of space to relax as a family, but also provides a great deal of private space as well. Lots of stairs up to the unit and inside, so that could be an issue for some (not us). This would definitely be a go to place for our next trip to Boston!
