Modern, Renovated Hither Hills House - Walk to the Beach

Great house with the perfect woodsy feel and so much natural light. Nice location with easy access to beach, Montauk, and Amagansett. The house has everything you need and plenty of space for a family. The host is very responsive. Highly recommend!

As other reviews have said, this house is even better in person. The amount of natural light this home gets through all the gorgeous windows and the way it is set into the land, feels like nature coming in. It also helps to see deer, turkey, squirrels and a array of birds every single day. For city folks, that alone is a treat! The location couldn't be better: 2-3 min drive to the beach and to Gurneys for great food and drinks. Just a couple minutes more into town and a relaxing drive into Amagansett if needed. The home is clean and well appointed - we were particularly impressed with the personal library. Despite having visited in the winter time, Montauk is still as magical as ever. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and I would caution folks that are looking for a rowdier time to look elsewhere. If you listen closely, you can hear the ocean waves from the backyard. The owner is prompt in his response and very easy to communicate with. The directions and guidance for the home and during our stay were clear and simple. It may not be of concern for shorter stays, but for us the Wifi strength was a must for work, and it was perfect the entire time. The fire pit in the backyard is a wonderful touch - just close enough to the house that you don't feel like you have to walk into the woods for it. We are frequent VRBO'ers and this is one of, if not our favorite stay to date; it is a really impressive home, a well managed property, and we look forward to visiting again, either in the warmer months or make a holiday tradition of visiting the seaside. We had a wonderful beach vacation at Jonathan's property. The pictures don't do the house justice - it is really stunning. We are a family with two young kids, and the house was so large we were sorry we hadn't invited the grandparents to join us. The kitchen is equipped with absolutely everything you might need, and we enjoyed dinner out on the back deck every evening.

The house was clean and newly renovated. The location is nestled in the woods in Hither Hills and feels nice and private. Overall a great place and responsive host.

Not only is this home exceptionally clean, modern, sunny, and relaxing, the location is amazing! We had wonderful weather and took advantage of the short walk to the beach and to Gurney's. Booking was easy and communication was great. The entire family loved their time here. I will definitely book this home again and recommend to friends and family.
