Modern Ranch Style Haus 1 Mile off Main St

This was just a fabulous place for us to stay with our grandkids in Fredericksburg. The home is very wonderful, the kitchen is amazing and beautifully appointed. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great (wonderful walk-in showers). The king beds in the 2 bedrooms we used are comfortable and they have great pillows! We enjoyed a meal we cooked there and the many utensils and cooking vessels we used. The open pantry was a great place for us to put our items so we did not leave anything behind.The laundry facilities were great and we used them. The spotless garage was very much appreciated due to the stormy weather that occurred while we were staying there.The house was staged to be welcoming and that was so appreciated!Communications with the hosts were timely and contained information we needed to have when we needed to have it. Thank you to our hostsand the housekeeper that takes care of the house!

We cooked a couple of meals at the house and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The AC/Heating unit kept us very comfortable.

We had relaxing, quality experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay while in Fredricksburg. It was very clean and fully equipped. The backyard area was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable. Home with well stocked with necessary items when we arrived. A bit of a walk to main street, but quiet area.

The house was immaculate and very beautifully furnished. It has everything you need for a long stay. Beds were cozy, all of the tech (tvs and wifi) worked without issues, and all tvs had firesticks so you could access your own streaming subscriptions. Big, enclosed yard with nice shade tree and hammock. Very close to shopping and dining. If you have young kids, you might spend time stressing about keeping dirty hands away from the big, comfy light colored couch so word of warning to those booking with littles.Would book here again the next time we're planning a weekend or week getaway in the Hill Country.

This was by far one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at. The property was immaculate! It was close to Main St and the winery we visited. Our hosts were easy to reach and made sure our check in and visit was going smoothly. We look forward to returning!!

The home was immaculately clean, comfortable and stocked with every product and amenity one could need while staying away from home. The hosts were easy to communicate with. Our cousins group has stayed in B&Bs in Fredericksburg for over 20 years. We give Hunter Haus 10 stars!

The best time at a wonderful home

We loved this house! This was our 6th time to visit Fredericksburg and stay at a rental. It is our favorite so far! The couch in the living room was so comfortable to watch movies and read. The kitchen was spacious which was great since we cook a lot on trips like this. The house is very close to Enchanted Rock and country roads for hiking and cycling. The beds were super comfortable too!

Very comfortable home. Clean. Convenient driveway parking. Coffee available. Well stock kitchen. Good communication with host. Close to downtown, within 2 miles. We were only there a couple of days, so we didn't make use of partio area, but very nice area.

The house was wonderful! It was very clean, the ac worked great, it was well stocked, and the beds were VERY comfortable!!! We also loved having a garage and the remote controls for the ceiling fans and lights were a nice touch. Awesome place, highly recommend……again, the beds were fabulous!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was incredibly comfortable throughout. The living room was cozy and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever had in a rental. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, which made dining in easy and enjoyable. The location was also great—very convenient to the center of town, which made getting around super easy. One of our favorite features was the backyard—spacious, peaceful, and a great place to unwind. The rest of the house was very nice and clearly well maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

Overall experience was 5 stars, Jeff was an amazing host! Very responsive prior to my check in, checked on me after my arrival to make sure I was getting settled in. Home is amazing, i instantly felt at home, everything is easy to locate in home, the lay out is outstanding. I did enjoy that I could park in the garage and shut the garage door behind me walk into home through the kitchen, this was a HUGE plus for me as I traveled alone. It just made me feel very safe while I unloaded my vehicle and put everything inside and then again when I got ready to leave. will definitely be booking again on my next trip to Fredericksburg.

We had an amazing weekend getaway with friends at this beautiful modern ranch-style home. The house was clean, spacious, and well kept, and we especially loved the stylish rooms and the cozy patio, perfect for relaxing. To top it off, the host left a bottle of wine for us upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch! The hospitality was outstanding, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.Overall, a fantastic experience — we’d definitely book again!

Location was perfect, owners quick to respond, and the home was beyond our expectations. We look forward to coming back and have officially claimed this as our VRBO of choice in Fredericksburg!

This is our 17th year coming to Fredericksburg but only found this jewel last year. This is our 2nd time staying at the Hunter Haus. Well stocked kitchen and the most comfortable beds. Great location!! We will be back next year.

It's clear that this home was well thought out and a lot of care went into providing a comfortable environment. We LOVED the outdoor area began and ended our day relaxing with a book, enjoying the ambiance. Commuication between the owners was excellent, informative and professional. The location is perfect! We will definitely be staying again here again in the future!

Found a location centered around Fredericksburg wine region and many other points of interest.

I can't say enough about this house. I have stayed in Fredericksburg many times both in other rentals and in hotels/resorts. This home rates in the top 2-3! The interior is beautiful; simple yet very comfortable. It's located only about 1/2 mile further from Main Street than I normally stay but was so peaceful as a result. The outdoor area is beautiful as well. I would gladly stay here again.

This home is well appointed and the pictures are very accurate. It's location close to downtown was very central to all of our adventures. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here.

Our “Girls Trip” consisted of 6 women, exploring Fredericksburg wineries, and enjoying some of our picks in this cozy home. The decor is a clean, modern motif with western elements. Everything one could want or need is there, the hosts were very attentive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend if you want a nice place to stay in the TX Hill Country that you consider this home!

This was our second time staying here. The host is very responsive. The location is perfect for our needs, the kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are comfy. It's a perfect place for our grandsons to come when us grandparents are in town for a visit since the outside space has lots of room and there is a large yard for them to run around in. A good time was had by all!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for 4 adult women. It was very clean and comfortable.

This house was perfect for our group! Five of us slept comfortably and this house has everything you would need in the kitchen and bathrooms. We needed batteries for one of the remotes and I messaged the owner and searched the kitchen drawers for some and found them. The owners were great with communication the day before and the day of check in! We were a 5 minute drive from downtown and quite honestly if you are a walker, you could easliy walk to town. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful house! Nice, clean, simple decor. Peaceful and very comfortable. Gorgeous backyard set up. Hosts thought of everything from coffee service, to bug spray! An absolute pleasure! We will be back!

Our friend group had our annual trek for wine tasting in Fredericksburg. We booked this great property! Beds were comfortable and house well stocked. Pictures were accurate! We hope to be back soon.

We had a great weekend getaway at this cute house in a quiet neighborhood!! Plenty of space for 2 couples. Beds and linens were super comfy! Only complaint would be the water pressure was too low in the hallway bathroom shower but we will be back!!
