Good stay…convenient to Roseville/ Lincoln shopping and restaurants
We were in town to attend the Aftershock Rock Festival. Wanted a safe comfortable place to stay that wasn't crazy high. This place was perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood. It was about 20 minutes from Discovery Park. The house was perfect for us.
The home was perfect for our family of 5 adults. It was very clean and the owner had body, shampoo and conditioner soaps available for use (that was a first for us when staying in VRBOs). The covered outdoor area was very peaceful and relaxing. The location was far enough away, yet still close. Easy access to the main streets and freeways. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book here again if we're in the area.
Stayed for only a short duration over Labor Day weekend to celebrate a family member's birthday at a park in Fair Oaks. Everything went well. Positive experience. Thank you.
We were literally in the house only to sleep but it suited our needs perfectly.
Old friends from army days who have have been friends for50+ years. We met them in the 1968 & stayed in touch ever since. Really relaxing time. Thanks for the Memories!!
This was the second time we stayed at this property. We enjoyed the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
The entire process was smooth from beginning to end. Yuliya was super responsive and helpful. The house was exceptionally well designed, with touches which I would like to add to my own home. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
Very convenient location Private backyard made outdoor living relaxing
The house is beautiful, just as pictured. I had a few issues. First, it was HOT in the house when we arrived. There are so many unlabeled wall switches we couldn't figure out how to turn on the living room ceiling fan until later that night. The ceiling fan in the twin room is SO loud my daughter couldn't use it bc she couldn't sleep with the motor and clackety noise. The refrigerator literally read 65° and the shelves were warm to the touch. My guess now is the door was left open by the previous guest (or cleaner) bc the doors don't close easily unless you force them closed. I had to throw away any perishables left in the fridge (mayo) bc of it. There was hot air blowing out of the range hood, which she said was bc we had the whole house fan on, but the only reason we turned that on was bc the a/c had was on energy saver mode and we couldn't lower the temp. We didn't know we weren't supposed to turn it on unless it was late at night and the windows were open (and I'm like, it's 107° outside, when am I going to leave the doors and windows open?). The knobs to the light and fan on the range hood are busted. There was only 1 potholder. We had to search for extra TP (hidden in a basket in the hall closet, NOT under the bathroom sinks where they should be). We ran out of garbage bags and I was told I can get some at the grocery store. The shower heads in master bath were nasty. The shower with 3 heads was absolutely wonderful, though. The lack of a headboard in the master bedroom was VERY uncomfortable on the hard mattress and feather pillows. My head kept sliding off the pillows and/or I could feel the table top on the back of my head and neck. This being said, the place as a whole was clean and beautiful. The neighborhood was fairly quiet, nice neighbors, sweet neighbor cats. The back patio was fantastic! The grill was great. There are peach and apple trees in the backyard with fruit rotting on the ground. I salvaged a couple of peaches and they were delicious! I would stay here again.
The whole experience from booking through checkout was great. The home is lovely, clean, with everything we needed for the week. Yuliya was very friendly and professional, and answered right away the two times I had questions. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
We were four women who were childhood friends coming to visit a friend in bad health. We all drove from different directions about two hours. I asked for the house code, etc. the day before and was told I’d get it the next morning. I had to ask again about noon just as I was leaving which meant I had to make a stop to share it with the other three. The hallway bathroom has a jacuzzi tub with high sides and the surface is very slick. There should be a grab bar and a rubber mat with suction cups. Lastly, Kleenex in the bathrooms would be nice. I was a VRBO owner in the Palm Springs area for many years. Those little things make a difference. Overall it suited our needs.
We found there is not enough seating. As there was no dining table with chairs inside made it difficult for eating meals. Even the fact there were only 4 of us, all sitting on the couch was not comfortable. We brought a couple of chairs from the patio. One other thing is the light switches. If they were marked right at the switch it would be very be very helpful. The beds were very comfortable and towels were nice. All in all we had a nice stay.
