My wife and I lived on Pearl street in Englewood for 8 years, just a few blocks north of this house. We love this area for its convenience to Red Rocks and the mountains on 285, and direct shot into the city on Broadway. This house is your typical, cozy Englewood ranch-style house (though it is technically in Littleton), and it is lovely. The only downside to our stay was that it seemed like the cleaning crew did not get to do a thorough job before we arrived. There was a lot of dog poop in the yard already, which we cleaned up since we also had our dogs with us and cleaned up after them. There was a can of natural ice beer left in the trash, the trash can batteries died, and there was fur/dust around the baseboards of the house. Still, they provide a vacuum and we cleaned up and had a great stay! I would recommend this house for sure.
We came to visit the whole family for Thanksgiving (13 of us). My husband had knee replacement surgery a few weeks ago and we needed a place to stay with no stairs. Thus ranch was perfect. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
My husband and I were househunting with our daughter and son-in-law and stayed here with them and our dog. Nice back yard for the dog and for morning coffee/evening wine. We weren't at the house any other time! It's small but worked well for us.
Perfect size & location for what we needed. Loved the good-sized, fenced in back yard.
Visited my son and his family in Highlands Place, CO. Not easy to find a place that will accept 3 dogs. But the place we had with Sarah in Littleton, CO was perfect. She accepted our pets and the place had a fenced in yard. Very comfortable place in a quiet neighborhood. I will definitely want to stay there again.
The neighborhood is nice and everything you need is conveniently located close by. However, the back yard is the nicest part of the property. One of the beds is extremely loud when you move slightly which forced one of the guests to unfortunately choose to sleep on the couch. We tried to use the oven, however we had a strong gas smell from the stove (which we were told was fine due to their being a sensor that would tell us if the gas levels were too high HA). As someone who has gas, I would prefer not to have to air out my home for 3 hours to get rid of the smell. The handle in the bathroom shower falls off when you turn the water on and their are dog urine stains on the couch. It’s a cute enough place and it’s pretty comfortable in the one bedroom and the living space, however, not being able to use a bed or the full kitchen wasn’t great. Upon telling the owner, they thanked me for letting them know about the problems I had so they could fix it for the next guest with no help to resolve the issues I personally had. Keep it all in mind when you decide to book.
We drove to town from Utah to see a Denver Bronco game. The house was perfect, the yard was perfect; very homey. Close to downtown Littleton, and to Denver. The stay was great!
The house was in good condition, the neighborhood was quiet. Perfect place to stay and be within an hour or so to hiking and biking trails and to the mountains.
We really enjoyed our 5 night's at Sarah's gem - we had kids and dogs and both LOVED the large backyard. The house was clean, easy and in a great location to DTC and very central to travel all over the Denver metro area. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
