Kalispell, Montana
Creekside (our name for this rental) is an inviting two bedroom, two bathroom open living/dining/kitchen space. Guests have remarked that they had everything they needed, including a stack-able washer/drier. It comfortably fits 4 guests but there is a single bed loft accessed by a built in ladder for a 5th young/spry person, if necessary, bedding included ($45.00 one time charge). The living quarters sit above a three car garage and is surrounded by tall, beautiful pine, birch and chestnut trees. With two bathrooms and two bedrooms plus a fully equipped kitchen it has all you need for your home away from home. You can see wildlife from the back porch and enjoy the shade of the beautiful trees when you return from a day of sightseeing or adventure. It is tucked away in a wooded area, with Woodland creek running behind it. This creek is shallow and on the other side of our yard fence. Sitting on the deck in the evening while cooking on the gas grill is an extra treat. Although it feels like you are miles away from town, Creekside is in fact walking distance to downtown Kalispell for fine dining, shopping, spas, cafe's, Kalispell Center Mall, churches, museums, Woodland Park is less than a block away. It is the home of many gardens and a lovely ponds, Ice Skating in the winter, Waterpark and swimming pool in the summer plus a skate park and running/walking paths. Softballs fields and the famous historic Conrad Mansion are also in the neighborhood. We also rent a larger house up the hill called Park Place- together the two places make a perfect spot for family reunions. Well behaved pets are welcome, please see Pet Policy for more details. Though there is a fence around the yard it is not necessarily designed to contain pets. Guests will need to make other arrangements for pets. There is a one car garage space available for our guests below the Creekside rental.
Should you be venturing to Glacier National Park from our location, the west entrance is about a half hour away. We supply bear spray and water bottles for your adventure. Please note, dogs are bot allowed on any Glacier Park trails..
fun weekend away with friends. Had everything we needed!
Loved it! Clean- fabulous to deal with!!! Beautiful view off deck- close to everything for what we wanted! Definitely will stay again!
Nice, clean place in quiet neighborhood with very pretty park nearby. Close to downtown.
Stayed here with my wife when she had a class in town to go to. We really enjoyed it. Had everything needed for a comfortable homey stay. Had a couple of hiccups while we were there, like running out of gas on the propane grill but Kris was fantastic and responded quickly to both text and phone call and was able to resolve our issues quickly and to my satisfaction. It is close enough that you can walk to historic downtown if you really want. The one car garage was nice as there was a couple of days that were nice and rainy while we were there. If ever my wife and I are in the area again we will look to see if this property is available.
We used this property as a base camp for visiting Glacier. It worked out well for us. Kitchen, grill and deck were nice for cooking. Comfortable enough for our purposes. It was clean as well.
Don’t recall that mentioned in listing. Overall nice place; room A/Cs, one of which quit working. Lawn had not been mowed and we brought a dog. You are asked to strip the beds and put in washer and run the dishwasher as you leave. Next to a daycare and school, so lots of cars at certain times.
Great central location Property as described, very nice unit I would stay again
This rental was just what a friend and I were looking for. It was a great bonus to be able to walk to the park for morning or evening strolls. Everything was a quick distance away. All in all a great experience.
The space was well maintained with a very welcoming vibe. We were well-prepped by the owners and property management folks and were able to move right in without missing a step. Wonderful experience!
This property was very clean and perfect for our stay. We were in town to explore the area. It was a perfect size for 1-5 people. The kitchen was very well equipped. The property manager was always close by for any needs (she worked very close). I would definitely recommend this to future travelers. Sitting on the south east corner of the city, it was easy access for all our day trips.
Mrs. Sally was so generous with her time and answered any questions or concerns I had. She is a very kind and respectful individual with a cheerful personality. Creekside is a lovely and peaceful property, nestled in quiet cul-de-sac. The location is ideal for shopping and navigating around town. The unit was very clean and absolutely perfect for our needs. It had all the amenities one would need and more. There was a six point young Buck and Doe out front casually walking through the property. It was fantastic watching them roam at a distance. I was so comfortable at Creekside, I truly did not want to come home. I look forward to returning this winter for another stay.
Very comfortable and centrally located for our activities in the Kalispel area. Unit is located in close proximity to a large park - perfect for the grandkids. Other than a few small cleanliness items (dust/fur on air conditioner in master, deck was littered with leaves and branches), this place was great! Backs to a natural creek area for privacy, however, there is a daycare right next door.
We had a nice stay here. We found the home to be quiet with a decent amount of space and a well accessorized kitchen. The beds and couches were comfortable. The home was about 45 min from the west entrance of Glacier. The unit is a little worn and wasn’t as clean as it could have been but Sally was easy to get in touch with and very kind. We enjoyed our time in Kalispell very much.
This was great for us and our parents- 4 people. Rooms on opposite sides provided privacy. Well stocked refrigerator and kitchen. The owner and manager were both very nice and checked in during our stay to see how we were doing. Convenience to town and the national park.
We recently met friends from all over the country and stayed in this cute house! Alloy distance to a beautiful little park and centrally located for all our planned activities! Easy drive south to Flathead Lake and north to Whitefish and Glacier National Park! We loved it! We spent evenings on the back porch visiting and laughing! Just what we needed!
Very nice.
The property was perfect for us and very clean. We loved the deer that came to visit most nights. Owners were nice and always answered quickly if we had a question. Would definitely recommend.
We felt as though we were in a mountain chalet. I enjoyed sitting on the upstairs deck overlooking a yard with three towering pines backed up against a creek. We visited in the summer so we could drive the Road to the Sun in the Glacier Nat'l Park. We enjoyed tooling around downtown Kalispell and ventured out to Whitefish. We fell in love with Montana and hope someday to return.
We stayed 4 nights in Kalispell for a wedding and this location served us well. It's close to restaurants and shops, easy access for food and necessities. Our college kids had their own room with twin beds and a bathroom to share. So that worked out perfectly! We were so busy we never even used the kitchen but I noticed it was fully stocked and ready to go for meal preparation. The washer and dryer were used often and made our trip much more manageable. My husband and I were both happy with the bed. It was soft and comfortable so that we slept well through the night. We weren't able to use the balcony since it rained daily and it's not covered, but it would be lovely when it's dry outside. There is a garage you can use if you like and that makes getting in and out of the condo easy. Highly recommend!
Overall the property is as described in the VRBO listing. It did accommodate our family of 5, and was clean and functional. Where our stay suffered was in the communication with the owners. It all starts with the booking process, which involves an absolutely unnecessary 'confirmation period', during which we were already committed to pay for our stay, but we didn't know if the owners will approve the reservation, so we were blocked for a complete day from proceeding with the rest of our reservations for the trip, and as a result missed an excellent opportunity for the days following the stay at this property. Second, we never got to see or talk with the owners directly, and that diminished the quality of our stay. Even on the night when the hot water ran out they sent someone else to fix the problem. Worst of all, they asked us to leave the property UNLOCKED upon departure, and had it left UNLOCKED before our arrival, despite the fact that we warned them that may be late into the night - something that was simply unacceptable in terms of risks and accountability. Had something been stolen/damaged before our arrival, or immediately after our departure, we would have been held responsible. That practice needs to be changed.
Very satisfied overall. Quite and easy to find.
Home was clean, comfortable and well stocked with paper goods and kitchen equipment. Location was great for us because we love to walk into town and to Woodland Park with our dog.
The property was very cozy. The property manager was very nice.
