Stayed Jun 23, 2025Our family of four, with two little ones under five, had the most incredible first-time summer visit to the Truckee/Tahoe area, and this house was the perfect home base. The views from the deck are absolutely stunning—we loved looking out over the forest, valley, and mountains. The kids were thrilled to see wildlife right from the house, including a bear, several deer, and bunnies! The house itself was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully equipped with modern furnishings and appliances. We cooked all our meals in the fantastic, well-stocked kitchen. After long days of exploring, it was a treat to come back and relax with a movie or have some fun on the PS5. The location is ideal, with easy access to amenities in Truckee, a quick drive to Donner Lake, and only about 30 minutes to Lake Tahoe. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our family vacation and highly recommend it!
