Modern Home on Lake Missaukee

This was our first time staying at this house, but we have been to this area many times. We could not have had a better experience and will most certainly be coming back to this home. The home was amazing, furnished beautifully and with everything you might need and more! My kids loved the beach and playing in the lake. The location is fantastic! We walked into town for a morning coffee and pastry and road our bikes for the biggest ice cream in the north in late afternoon. Tim and Tracey were wonderful and super helpful!

Our second year here and it did not disappoint We absolutely love the area and the home The owners go above and beyond with communication They even had a welcome sign set up inside with fresh bread from the local bakery To say we were blown away once again is an understatement A family tradition has been started and it’s all thanks to these lovely people and their home

Stayed here a week with 5 adults. The house is beautiful, clean, and has everything you need. The lake is amazing and was not busy when we were there in mid August. I would stay here again!

Spent the week on the lake with grandparents. Property is awesome! Great view and great amenities. Hosts made place very prepared for visit and helped with boat situation. Close enough to traverse city to make a day of. Secluded neighborhood can walk and neighbors all friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time at Lake Missaukee. The house is beautiful inside and out. It was stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing week. The beach is sandy and the water was perfect-my kids were able to walk out ~200 yards into the water. The hosts were very responsive to the few questions we had during our stay. The neighbors were very friendly. We enjoyed visiting the town with restaurants and an ice cream shop! I would recommend this property to anyone looking to get away with family and friends!

This was our first vacation to Michigan and it did not disappoint. The house was better than the pictures portrayed! It had the perfect amount of room for 5 adults, one 13 year old and a 4 month old. The house is well appointed and we wanted for nothing except maybe more sunshine and less clouds! There are many outside areas to enjoy, as well as the kayaks, corn hole and cards that we enjoyed. The water is clear and I could see the bottom easily when I walked out to the end of the longest neighboring pier. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. It is close enough to Traverse City and Mackinac Island to drive and enjoy those also. There are a couple of good restaurants right in Lake City and a great ice cream shop and a bakery! We could not ask for anything more and neither will you! Also the best cherries I have ever tasted!

Our Fall getaway stay at this lakeside home was wonderful! We had plenty of room for all 7 of us. The accommodations were more than we had imagined with great furnishings and fully stocked kitchen and a kitchenette downstairs. The owners are very quick to answer any questions and communication was excellent! Our group of friends would definitely love to rent this place again!

An extremely clean, well cared for new property with spectacular views right on the water. Incredibly well equipped kitchen. Everything was perfect and the fishing was superb as well!

Our family of 4 plus 2 friends stayed a week at this lake house, and from the moment we walked in the door we were blown away. The photos of the house don't do it justice -- it's gorgeous, updated, super clean, and has a perfect view of the lake during the day, at sunset, and under a blanket of stars. The house has ALL the amenities to give you the comforts of home with plenty of space for the 6 of us. We had a wonderful time on and off the lake, whether it was watching sunsets, swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, playing corn hole & ladder golf on the sand, making s'mores over the bonfire, playing cards, or even just drinking morning coffee by the water. There was plenty to do to keep our teenage boys entertained. The BBQ & Mexican restaurants in town had great food for the days we didn't want to cook. The owners, Tim and Tracey, are so accommodating and responsive! And the neighbors are all so friendly and welcoming. This was the perfect retreat and we will definitely be back!
