    The property presents several positive attributes, including recent renovations, cleanliness, convenient onsite parking, and a fenced yard. It is well-equipped with essential amenities and enjoys a prime location near the downtown area. The host's responsiveness and ease of communication are also noteworthy. While the accommodation proved ideal for my needs and my mini goldendoodle, it is important to acknowledge potential safety concerns for families or solo female travelers due to the neighborhood's evolving demographic. The area's juxtaposition of newly constructed, high-value residences with existing homes and long-term residents creates a complex environment. The property's proximity to a public housing project, with an entrance on the same street, has resulted in increased exposure to criminal activity. Specifically, I observed instances of reckless driving, including early morning speeding and subsequent collisions, as well as a bicycle and copper theft. Furthermore, I encountered unsettling interactions with a neighbor, including a veiled threat and other instances of unusual behavior. Additionally, I discovered a discarded refrigerant cap, which may indicate refrigerant theft and abuse. The neighbor's conduct further contributed to my concerns. I personally didnt really mind and can handle myself in situations but I definitely wouldnt leave anything of value in the car or outside even in the backyard with a lock. With all that being said, I would stay there again.

    Fantastic and convenient area. Perfect for a month's stay to explore Austin and work remote. Would definitely return.
