Modern home in historic neighborhood with lower level game room by Loras College

Great house! Kitchen amenities were appreciated, game room was fun, and dining table for 6 was perfect for our group!

The house was immaculate! The kitchen was well stocked and the location was excellent. We also loved the lower level game room. It’s always nice when the house is exactly as promised.

Very good for our stay in Dubuque. We watched soccer at Loras Friday night and another game Sunday at Dubuque University.

We loved all the space for a girls trip to celebrate our friends’ birthdays. There were plenty of room for everyone. We all loved the bedrooms and layout. Some could stay up and do the games downstairs while others could go to their room. We loved how close it was too all the restaurants and location to casino and shopping! Great house thanks for sharing it!

Very charming property with several unique qualities, resulting in a unique experience. Only significant issue is the property is in need of a deep spring cleaning. Baseboards covered in dust and hair, food in and under microwave, etc.

The house was as advertised. It was very clean and organized and had exactly the starter items we needed to survive the first night since we arrived late. It is in a great neighborhood and worth a walk around the block to enjoy the great view over the city. There are stairs that lead down the bluff into downtown. We actually walked to breakfast at Birdies Bistro about 10 minutes away and to the beautiful library which is even closer. We would definitely stay again!! We enjoyed our time in this home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was in a very convenient area, close to downtown. It had all the amenities we wanted. Sitting on the deck was relaxing and quiet. The game room was awesome. It was an interesting layout & has a large kitchen, which was nice for us as we like to cook together. All I all very nice.

Loved our stay at the Arlington Cottage. The space was perfect for our group. It was clean, and the owners were great to communicate with before and after our stay. Would definitely book this home again.

Group of 4 classmates and one spouse stayed at this very clean VRBO on the hills above Dubuque. The house was as described with nice seating areas both inside and out. Comfortable beds and 3 nice bathrooms. Flight of stairs to main level and to bedrooms was not a problem for our group. The kitchen and appliances had what we needed to enjoy time together. The coffee bar was much appreciated. History of the home was interesting and fun activities near by. We walked 4 miles on Heritage Pond trail and 1 in group later biked 25 miles on same trail. Rode Fenelon Place Elevator built in July 1882. Enjoy Dubuque and this home!

Stayed here with some team mates for races in town. The space was as advertised and shown in the listing. Spacious and clean. Wish we had more time to hang in the house itself because the common spaces were pretty comfy!

This house was very cozy for our family vacation and a great spot to relax after a long day of adventuring. The house had everything that we needed and the kids loved playing ping pong!

Decent property. Could have been cleaner (dirty sock left on the bed from previous renter, floor was not swept very well, etc...) No Kleenex in the upstairs bathroom. Overall, not bad.

This house is exactly what you see in the pictures! It's clean and spacious and everyone enjoyed it. We came into town for the Field of Dreams Baseball tournament. It is only a short 30 minute drive to Dyersville for the Field of Dreams. The house is in a nice location and you can easily walk to the downtown area and enjoy all that Dubuque has to offer. We would definitely recommend this house and stay there again if we are in the area!

This house was just perfect. It is centrally located and you could easily walk to downtown -- Charlotte's, warehouse district, etc. -- and walk back. (Though, to be fair, the house is up a hill, so a ride back could be wise, especially after spending time at Dolph's, Back Pocket, etc.) The beds were comfortable, the house was immaculate, and the games downstairs provided some great release while we waited for people to get ready to go out. In addition, the house has possibly the best shower of any rental on VRBO. The owners were EXTREMELY accommodating and were easily accessible. I had mistakenly booked a day earlier than I anticipated, and they worked with me to get things squared away the day I intended to arrive, but the day after I had booked the house. One of the best experiences I've had with an owner, by far. I cannot recommend this property highly enough! That said, one thing to be aware of: the stairs inside the house are a little narrow. Easy enough to get up and down, but something to be aware of.
