Stayed Apr 9, 2026This cute little house worked perfect for us! Kitchen had everything we needed, outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine, laundry was helpful, and the beds were comfortable. Maybe less full pillows, but otherwise great. Modern and clean! Loved the photo of the dog in Lane Stadium! Close to restaurants, grocery, theater, and Virginia Tech!

Stayed Apr 7, 2026Great space, comfy beds, very small but perfect for an overnight stay. My only complaint, I think the firepit in the photo is a bit misleading and for the money I don't think guest should have to break down beds.

Stayed Jul 4, 2025Staying at the Tranquil Retreat has been so much nicer than staying at a hotel. Plenty of space for 3 adults and we really appreciated the upgraded amenities, including the wonderfully comfortable beds. Great, well stocked kitchen, very easy to prepare a meal and nice to have a washer and dryer. This is our second stay here to visit our daughter, and we will certainly be back.
