Modern Gulf-front beach house with multiple decks, washer/dryer, & central AC

The house was clean, tidy, and well stocked. The floorplan worked well for our group.

The house was clean and in great order and the view was amazing!

The home has a great beachfront view with nice decor but it is aging with obvious concerns. A portion of the railing on the deck was defective and failed when my granddaughter leaned on it. It could have been a tragic situation. We were unable to utilize the best feature, the deck with the view when this occurred. A maintenance worker did do a repair 7 hours later. The kitchen was a good size with an open concept; however the host did not supply adequate daily items, such as trash bags, dish washer detergent, dish soap, laundry detergent, or dish towels for a stay of 3 nights. The exterior yard area had trash debris scattered around.

We cooked all meals and the kitchen was fully stocked, but knives were very dull. Not a big deal, but I cook a lot and I am used to knives that will slice (not saw) through tomatoes, celery, jalapeno, etc. Our room had a great view of the Gulf.

Location and home was great. Faces beach, beautiful porch with chairs.

This was a perfect place for us to hold a 3 generation family vacation. We will make this place our annual

Vista del Mar was everything we hoped for. Spacious, very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The view was amazing and it was wonderful being so close to the water. I look forward to staying in this beautiful home again.

Beach view and beach access are very good. Kitchen was fairly well equipped, but coffee maker and dishwasher need to be updated. Cute furnishings and decor; comfortable beds. One of the showers had not been cleaned well.

Excellent clean property. Would appreciate if the owners can communicate more .

Awesome property

Spectacular home, located on a quiet, well maintained beach. The kitchen and laundry were very well equipped and the decor was beautiful. The views were awesome.

This home was perfect for our group of family and friends!! The layout of the house gave everyone some privacy. The large deck space was FABULOUS for sitting and visiting while enjoying the views. The large tables, inside and outside let us all eat or play games together. The kitchenware, toiletries, and linens were terrific. We’ve rented many houses in Galveston. We’ll definitely come back to this one.

Everything was a described. Perfect setup with everything we needed.Suggestion. More bathroom towels/washcloths provided. The towels were very thin and small. We did 3 loads of towels in 2 nights. We have 13 people staying there. Also, provide more beach towels. We brought some. Had we not , we would have had to go purchase more for our group. The house is so close to the beach. Beach chairs would have been nice. Nothing fancy. Something light weight to carry back and forth. The late check out option was weird. I asked for late check out and received several messages with conflicting information. In the end, we gave up and left at the early 10am check out time. That’s really early. We have never had a vrbo with such an early check out time. Or an experience where you are so confused about about the multiple conflicting and AI sounding messages via the app that tell you yes you can check out at 2pm and pay extra…no, you can’t,,, you are approved for late check out…you can’t check out late. Weird …

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, plenty of dishes and silverware. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms and showers were very clean. There are TVs in every room except the bunk room. The view of the beach is amazing! from the living room and kitchen. Please note that this house does not provide grills of any kind, gas or charcoal. If you want to grill food, you must bring your own grill. And you must also bring your own umbrella, chairs to sit on the beach too, if that is what you want to do. They provide beach toys and beach towels and a shower downstairs to wash off the sand. The beach is so close to the house that we just walked to it, the kids had a blast. The location of the house is perfect! Very quiet neighborhood. I will definitely rent this house again.

Everything about spending a weekend here with friends was great.

Our family of 11 had a wonderful weekend at this home! It had plenty of room for everyone. It included everything we needed to cook. The kids enjoyed the games, sand toys, and Lego’s. The beach was very quiet and felt almost private. We even saw dolphins each day! We’ll definitely be back!

We loved being right on the beach. Just steps away. There was a lot of bright open space for our large family. We loved the big table inside and out for meals.

We absolutely loved this house. It was in a perfect spot. All beds were comfy and everyone was happy in their rooms. We went with a group of 15 and used all bedrooms. I would come here again! Only negative is there isn’t enough pots and pans. Be prepared to head to dollar general to get some if you’re cooking.

The house is gorgeous, updated and well taken care of. We spent 4 nights here with a 4 year old and 13 month old. A few tips: -The upstairs bedroom (blue coral): AC is awful and doesn't work well. The room never got below 74. Great shower and excellent water pressure. -Kitchen: no dish towels and terrible cookware. Lovely dishes and cups, plenty of silverware and serving plates. There are no food storage containers, bring your own or Saran wrap if you're going to cook. -Bring lysol wipes to clean the floor, it always felt funny to me. -Great house for babies! Bring a tension rod baby gate for the bottom of the stairs and a pack-n-play. It was easy to close off the bedrooms and keep the crawling baby in one area. -Excellent views and easy access to the beach. Patio was perfect for a little kiddie pool. -Lawn care comes on Wednesday morning. -Marios has the best pizza delivery/pickup 10/10! Hopefully by the time you read this - they have fixed the issues above. :)
