Escape to our modern lower-level guest suite in the heart of Oak Harbor. This comfortable retreat has its own separate entrance from the back of the home and includes a living room, kitchen, king bedroom, and full bathroom. On clear days, enjoy beautiful views of the Cascade Mountains—including Mt. Baker—from the patio, creating a serene backdrop for your Whidbey Island getaway.

The guest suite is accessed via stairs from the dedicatedback entrance, which may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns (see listing photos).

As this suite is located on the lower level of our home, you may occasionally hear light footsteps or everyday sounds from our young children upstairs. Light sleepers or those sensitive to noise should take this into consideration.

The Space

Located on the lower level of our home, the guest suite offers its own living room, fully equipped kitchen, king bedroom, and full bathroom with in-suite washer and dryer. It features a dedicated back entrance with stairs (see listing photos for details).

Relax on our firm, stylish new sofa and enjoy your favorite shows on the smart TV—simply log in with your own Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, or other streaming accounts. Enjoy the nostalgic record player and our collection of board games for relaxed evenings in.

Kitchen & Dining

Prepare meals easily in the fully equipped kitchen with induction stovetop, microwave, full-size fridge with water/ice dispenser, blender, toaster, rice cooker, and slow cooker. The coffee bar is stocked with local beans, a coffee maker, and grinder—perfect for starting your day.

Bedroom
Sink into pure relaxation in this inviting bedroom, featuring a luxurious king-size bed dressed in soft premium linens and plush pillows. A quiet ceiling fan and room-darkening shades ensure a perfect night’s sleep. Enjoy a 40 Roku TV with easy access to all major streaming services — simply log in with your own accounts. Thoughtful touches include a spacious closet, luggage racks, iron and ironing board, full-length mirror, and a comfortable bench.

Dedicated Workspace
Remote workers will appreciate the desk, external monitor with HDMI cable, and bright overhead lighting. Notepads, pens, and pencils are provided.

Laundry

The full-size stacked washer and dryer are conveniently located in the bathroom. We supply detergent, dryer sheets, and wool dryer balls so you can travel light.

Full Bathroom
Relax with a walk-in shower or soak in the tub. Plush robes and essential toiletries are provided for your comfort.

Outdoor Patio
Step outside through French doors to your own patio with water views. Use the BBQ grill, or relax at the small 2-person table and chairs for alfresco dining or morning coffee in the fresh air.
