Modern Get Away - The Boat House

First, I want to say maybe scout it's location in advance. If you arrive in the dark, you will have a tough time finding the property, even with the provided instructions. It looks like an old tool shed (boat house?) on the outside. You are initially wondering if it is the property and maybe you will be a bit disappointed when you first see it. Parking is on the street and it's a bit strange. When you go in though, it is the nicest boat house ever. Everything is comfortable, well furnished, with a modern contemporary look. It has an outdoor patio that is fantastic. I also liked the full walk in shower with accessibility consideration that tucks out of the way in case you have no disabilities. Up the street, is one of the best parks in Boise that is walking distance. Also, awesome coffee shops and quick (Uber or car) access to downtown. So, don't be disappointed by the outside, it's great inside. Unless you are about appearances on the outside... then I suggest find someplace else. I rated it 4 overall because i can't go with 5 when it's hard to find and has a funky curb appeal. For the price, would definitely stay here again.

I loved my 6 week atay. The host was quick to respond to any questions. Everything I needed was there. Enjoyed the area for long walks. Will definitely stay again when I return to Boise.

This unit is in a quiet neighborhood and easy to find. We were in Boise to visit family in the area. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed as were the bedroom and bathroom. The instructions were clear and the communication with the landlord was prompt. We'd be happy to stay here again!

Cannot say enough about the owner and property! It was the perfect escape from the hustle of the surrounding city life. The place was immaculate, the owner incredibly responsive and kind. Very thoughtful!! Milk and bagels in the fridge, all kinds of snacks, wide variety of coffees, heated bathroom floor. The backyard was my favorite! Totally surrounded by greenery for privacy and a perfect place to sit outside and enjoy coffee and the warm breeze with a good book! The neighborhood was great for walking and felt completely safe. Will absolutely recommend and use again!

We had a fantastic stay at The Boat House. Its location was perfect for our needs, and the unit itself was incredibly well-stocked and comfortable. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Everything you need to have a comfortable stay, great backyard patio, easy parking, and a quiet neighborhood. Location could not be better. Easy access to downtown and Camelback park is only a block away. Slept very well on the king size bed and bathroom and shower had everything we needed. Check in and out super easy, could not recommend more. 10/10

This is a very clean, spacious place for two people. It had everything we needed for our four night stay. The private back yard space is a real plus, and the North End location is very convenient. We enjoyed our stay here.

The furnishings were very tasteful. The amenities exceed the average VRBO. The location is excellent for exploring downtown Boise and other surrounding landmarks. The property is very quiet and private even in the heart of a neighborhood. I would book this property everytime I visit Boise!

We had the best time in this very comfy home! Spotless, organized with fresh flowers and a fridge/draws full of food and supplies,for free! Beautiful neighborhood a few blocks from open space with trails or neighborhood bars and restaurants. Can’t wait to come in the spring. You will feel pampered here.

I love staying here! It is clean and well kept. The host is amazing and so accommodating. The private yard is serene and inviting. I loved having the view from the kitchen window. This is a repeat visit, and I will be going back. ❤️

Chelli, the property, and the location make this the best place to stay in Boise! Chelli made sure the house had everything we needed and even things we didn’t know we needed. The thoughtful touches were above and beyond! We enjoyed the comforts of the home and exploring Camelback on foot and bike, the local restaurants/bakeries of Hyde Park, downtown Boise, and BSU. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town.

The Boathouse is an exceptional place to stay. Love the modern comfort and the feel of the neighborhood. The yard was so relaxing and the location was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay. This location is awesome - walking distance to historic Hyde Park with shopping, dining and coffee shops. Also could walk to Camelback Park which has a ton of trails. This space was perfect for 2 people and was very well stocked. Would stay at this place again for sure.

We've stayed in several VRBOS and none of them have been as well stocked as this one. Even spare reading glasses in the bedside drawers! All high end appliances and easy to use. The curb appeal belies high nice the interior is!
