Modern Family Retreat, Steps to Mirror Lake/Main St, Hot Tub, Game Room, Deck

We had a great stay, location was perfect, just a few steps to the downtown shops/restaurants. The owners were very responsive to my questions, both prior to and during our stay. A great space for large family’s, very kid friendly.

Perfect location, lots of games for the family when the ski day was over, and plenty of room for everyone. We really all enjoyed our stay. Communication was great too. Loved it.

We absolutely loved our stay in Lake Placid. I wish we could have extended! The house is massive and includes every possible amenity you could need. The hot tub is perfection on a cold snowy evening. The game room and upstairs playroom came in handy with our guests too! We walked to and from local restaurants and bars and enjoyed a morning loop around mirror Lake as well. Thank you so much. I hope to be back soon.

Excellent location walking distance to so many things! The house was lovely and spacious.

We held our annual men’s fall golf outing. Had a wonderful time. The house allowed us to enjoy our time together before and after golf.

It is a perfect Adirondack house and I wish I could’ve stayed longer and taken advantage of the back patio and hot tub

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in Lake Placid with our extended family. The house was absolutely perfect—spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed for groups. The location couldn’t be better: just steps from Mirror Lake and Main Street, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private.Check-in was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and everything was ready for us when we arrived. We appreciated the seamless process after a long drive!The kitchen was a standout: fully stocked with quality cookware, plenty of dishes, and even some pantry basics. It made cooking for a large group easy and enjoyable. We especially loved gathering around the big dining table for meals and late-night chats and game night.The weather was gorgeous during our stay. The game room was a hit with both kids and adults, and the layout of the house gave everyone space to relax.Highly recommend this property for families or groups looking for a comfortable, well-located retreat in Lake Placid.

Great location to town - common space and back deck was great to hang out and beds were comfortable. Only downfall was no AC since it was unseasonably hot for Lake Placid but the box fans in the window worked out great!

Uuummmm…good location, good house but ….goos for less than 10 people. A little cramped for 10. The care taker was very responsive over sms and very strick about checkout time….

Had a great stay. House is perfectly located. Kitchen is well stocked. Foosball table was a hit with kids. Beds are comfortable. Had a few issues, but owner was always very quick to respond.

Wonderful home in a perfect location! An easy walk to Main Street, lots of restaurants and things to do made this an excellent home base for our trip. Loved watching it snow by the fire! Highly recommend as our entire family really enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing time at this property! Julie was incredibly responsive when we needed to reach out for questions we had. The listing didn't do the property justice - it was MUCH larger and more spacious than the photos made it look - perfect for 10 high school / college friends to have a long weekend get together from all over the country! It was a very quick walk to all the shops and restaurants on Mirror Lake which made it easy for the group to come and go as we pleased. We highly recommend this property and hope to come back in the future!PS - although there weren't any kids with us on the trip, the entire 3rd floor was dedicated to kid friendly things to do. This makes it super appealing to come back with my family in the future! So much to do in town and in the house!

The property is absolutely perfect for any reason you are visiting Lake Placid. Everything local is walking distance and anything else is a short drive. The house is well appointed and the owners are very responsive to anything you might need.

Wonderful time in our favorite Adirondak setting- first time in the winter and first time renting a whole house. We were not disappointed. The home was decorated beautifully, the host was responsive and personable.Looks like a summer stay is in our future! A summer

We had a wonderful stay with another family while in town for a youth hockey tournament. House was large, clean, and great all around (although slightly quirky, but that’s what you get with an old house). We loved it! Way better than a hotel. Wish it wasn’t below zero so we could have used the hot tub. Owners were amazing with communication. Very helpful and welcoming. Would recommend.

The home was lovely, just as expected. The rooms were spacious and clean. Parking was great. The Hosts were very helpful and provided great pre-trip information on places to go and where to eat. We spent a little too much time at the ice cream shop, the breakfast place and bakery in town, but all our walking helped with that. My grandson especially liked the 3rd floor game room that we used for his crib. Thomas the Tank Engine and all the tracks and building became a morning routine for us. We spent hours of quiet time building the tracks and playing before everyone else was awake. The park across the street was great for the little guy and the walk to town was easy even with the stroller. I wish the weather had been better the deck was very nice but mostly unused because of the rain.

Fabulous location with an enormous house close to Main Street and Mirror lake. We were a group of 11 and stayed for 4 nights. House was great and would highly recommend. Thanks Julie for making the stay so pleasant.

House was spotless and well stocked with all You will need. Location was perfect. ! Loved the back patio and hot tub.! No AC and it was extremely hot but not an issue in winter time. Would go again. !!

Perfect for a group of middle age lax players.

Our group of 8 rugby players really enjoyed the space, lots of options to either tuck away or gather all together. Really loved the proximity to the public beach on Mirror Lake, which we used daily. You're right across the street from a kids' playground and big grass lot - perfect for whiffle ball games!
