Built from two parallel shipping containers, this unique retreat features a full kitchen, flexible sleeping spaces, and indoor-outdoor living. Guests enjoy access to the property’s outdoor recreation grounds including a pool, mini golf course, fire pit lounge, outdoor billiards, and desert gathering spaces.



The Space:

Smurf Haus is a sustainably built container-casita designed to maximize function within a compact footprint. The home is constructed from shipping containers, creating a unique architectural experience with a strong indoor-outdoor connection.



Because of the design, rooms are connected via exterior walkways rather than interior hallways. Guests will step outside briefly when moving between bedrooms and common spaces.

Traveling with a larger group Worth the Wait Ranch also has another nearby casita that can be booked together when available.



Guest Access:

Self check-in is simple and seamless. Exterior gates and doors are secured with keypad access, so no keys or in-person check-in are required.

Worth the Wait Ranch is located in Robinhood Acres, a quiet neighborhood in North Phoenix. The property is just one minute from the SR-51 freeway, providing quick access to Scottsdale, Downtown Phoenix, and other major areas of the city.



A large neighborhood park is located nearby, and a variety of restaurants, shops, and everyday conveniences are within a short drive.



Getting Around:

North Phoenix is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city.



• 20 minutes to Sky Harbor Airport

• 20 minutes to Old Town Scottsdale

• 20 minutes to Downtown Phoenix

• 10 minutes to Desert Ridge Marketplace



Outdoor lovers can reach Camelback Mountain or Piestewa Peak in about 15 minutes, while family destinations like the Phoenix Zoo and Desert Botanical Garden are roughly a 20-minute drive.

Landscaping typically occurs Tuesday afternoons and pool service is usually Friday mornings, though schedules may occasionally vary.







Safety & Monitoring:



The property uses privacy-safe noise and occupancy monitoring devices (such as Minut/NoiseAware) in common areas and outdoor spaces. These devices do not record conversations or audio, but help ensure compliance with house rules.



Exterior cameras monitor property entrances only.







Rental Agreement:



Guests will be asked to review and acknowledge a short-form rental agreement after booking through the guest app. This document reiterates house rules, liability terms, and local compliance requirements.



Interaction with Guests:

Worth the Wait Ranch is a large property with multiple guest accommodations.



The casitas are located at the rear of the property behind The Manor, a separate five-bedroom home that may also be rented.



Next to Smurf Haus are two additional container homes:



• TeeBox, a 3-bedroom casita available for guest reservations

• A separate private residence



Each guest space is enclosed to maintain privacy, and parking areas serve the different areas of the property.



The owner is available if needed but otherwise provides guests with complete privacy during their stay.
