Stayed Feb 22, 2024Great location in Wainiha just off the beach. The cottage is very well stocked with extras of everything. It’s very clean and super comfortable. The Management Team was friendly and helpful with all pre-arrival questions.

Stayed Feb 15, 2024This is a sweet, charming, throwback type of accommodation. It has a Hawaiian beach feel to it that is harder to come by as these properties are being demo'ed for McMansions etc. We would stay there again. It has easy access to an uncrowded beach. Thanks for everything!

Stayed Jan 26, 2024This is a quaint house in a great location, with lots of kitchen gadgets. As others have said, the walls in the bedrooms don't go all the way to the ceiling, so it is best for one couple, maybe with some young kids-- when one person has lights on, or is talking, everyone will see/hear them. Even though it is only a few minute walk to the beach, of course you don't get that right on the beach feeling. One reason I chose this house were the many reviews that noted how clean it was. However, while the house was superficially clean, it needs a deep cleaning—lots of insects, dust, etc. near the walls, behind the beds etc. Outdoor furniture very dirty; we cleaned the table so we could use it. Some of the linens in the closet were clean, but in many cases smelly. Most of the dishes in the cabinets were not very clean especially when we got behind the front row. Our contact Joanne was very attentive in setting up our visit, and when we left, I sent her an email about the need for a deep cleaning, and she immediately thanked us and said she would talk to the team. So, could just be a one time oversight.

Stayed Jan 8, 2024A very quiet part of the island. The beaches are wonderful and easy to get to. Riding the bicycles around was great.

Stayed Sep 6, 2023We loved the little home nestled under a beautiful guardian tree with flowers and Birds all around. The house had everything we needed including bikes. snorkel gear and vitamix blender. The only little challenge was that the beach is right in front of the house however there is another house as a private property and you have to organize an accesss if you want to go directly, so you walk through someone’s garden. Otherwise there is a public beach access about 3 min bike ride.

Stayed Jul 26, 2023One of the few remaining authentic cottages in Haena, oozing old Hawaiian charm and homeliness. The location can’t be beaten, just a stone’s throw from the north coast’s best beaches, which are otherwise impossible to park at; so having the ability to walk or cycle (3 bikes are provided) to Tunnels Beach is an absolute godsend. Apparently a complete rebuild of the house is on the cards. But my advice is to book now and enjoy the old-world Kauai vibes while they last!

Stayed Jul 7, 2023Our family enjoyed our time here, and the proximity to Tunnels Beach (a short walk) and Hanalei (a 10 minute drive) was excellent. The home was incredibly clean and had all of the things we needed during our stay (great linens, washer/dryer, full kitchen). One thing to note is the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, so you don't get a ton of privacy in the bedrooms. Fine for our family, but not great if you're traveling with two couples. One other thing I wish we would have done was packed coffee in our suitcases. We arrived late evening (around 8 pm) and every store on the island was closed. Having coffee readily available (without driving) would have been so nice!

Stayed Jun 13, 2023Our group found the property to be even better than pictures showed. The layout was great, allowing everyone to gather around while cooking and eating. Short walk to exclusive access to tunnels was amazing. Property was immaculately clean and beds were very comfy. Highly recommend.

Stayed May 15, 2023We had a great time in the Haena property. The management team took care of all of our needs promptly? The beach, only a few steps away, is lovely. We enjoyed snorkeling just a short walk down the beach at Tunnels beach. The Napali Coast hike was rough but well worth it. Gorgeous views! FYI- the helicopter tour ( doors off) Spectacular! M & M
