There were many great things about this stay, my family and I overall enjoyed the home. iTrip (the company that manages this property) sent several messages asking me to provide a five-star review and offering a 10 Amazon gift card for it which I find quite manipulative and gross-- I will instead provide my honest review.The good: Great communication from the hosts and ability to do an hour earlier check-in and hour later check-out during this low season reservation. The upstairs was very cozy and comfortable, including the two upstairs bedrooms. The hot tub wonderful! The kitchen very well stocked with lots of cookware and at least four ways to make coffee. It's walking distance to a lovely, nearly private beach.I'm deducting a star because the downstairs (including two bedrooms and a family room) needs work. It appears to have experienced water damage at some point, and it's just cement floor down there with no moldings-- it feels unfinished. It's cold both aesthetically and temperature-wise, needs at least space heaters and extra blankets. The mattresses need to be replaced as they had massive craters, and comforters need a good washing. The TV downstairs was unusable-- needs a software update. Even with the issues with the downstairs, my family agreed on a solid 4 stars because of the overall positive features. I think it wouldn't take a lot to make this a legitimately 5-star experience.

We go to Garabaldi every year for our annual crabbing/fishing trip and we have stayed at this house at least 3 of those times. It is a great home, not far from the beach. The great part is you can sit on the patio in the front with the gas firepit and listen to the ocean, or you can go in the back and start a wood burning fire for smores. They added a hot tub, which is nice to use as well. __Plenty of room for our family as there is usually 8 of us (we have a big family:).____Very nice, clean, and comfortable home.

This home was great for our group of 8! It is clean and well-kept and the management team is very responsive. The king beds were too soft for us (thought about removing the mattress toppers because they also make the beds too high up from the floor) but the other beds were comfortable. We appreciated having plenty of towels because we enjoyed the hot tub almost daily!One thing to note is that while the ocean is just a block away looking out from the deck, the beach access is a further walk, a few blocks and then a long sandy path, which may be difficult for some older folks. Overall, this is a wonderful location in a quiet neighborhood, and we would love to return.

The pictures don't do this place justice! The home is so nice and updated. It was so clean and everything worked great! The location is wonderful. Just one and half blocks from the beach! The hot tub was fun and the beds were super comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Great accommodations for our family getaway. The younger set loved the hot tub while we enjoyed the fire pit nearby. How many toasted marshmallows can you eat? The home is nicely appointed and had everything we needed. Short walk to the almost private beach...and centrally located to enjoy all the coast has to offer. Loved the train ride to Garibaldi and the 50 year old kids had to check out the Goonies house in Astoria. Tillamook is a must see! And so many wonderful hikes nearby. Enjoy!

Our stay was beyond beautiful in this home! We rent homes at the coast every year for 8-10 days, and have stayed in Rockaway for the past 3 years. We are in love with this little town! This year we discovered Short Sand Beach which is about a half an hour north of Rockaway. STUNNING!!!! We love the privacy of the beach near the home as well! It’s a short walk on a paved road and very easy beach access! No climbing hills or a million stairs, just walk a path and hit the beach! We loved walking south and seeing the waves crash over the Garibaldi Jetty. The home was very clean and beyond comfortable! I loved how stocked the kitchen is, and loved how cute it was decorated! I’m a decor kind of gal so that really spoke to my stylist heart! The front deck was my favorite!! Comfy chairs with peekaboo ocean views and clear sounding ocean waves added to the tranquility of a fire and a glass of wine wrapped in a cozy blanket. We loved the hot tub so much that we ended up needing chlorine, asked the owners for more and they dropped it off pretty much immediately for us. We brought our dogs and loved having back gate access so easily to drop off leashes and rinse our dogs & our feet of the sand. Our drawbacks were super minor! Would have loved a pantry since we stayed over a week and brought so much food and didn’t really have a place to put it. Would have loved a stock pot to cook with (big fam to cook for) WiFi for the TV didn’t support streaming & needed more bedding. Rating 10 stars!

The house and hot tub were clean and well maintained! Nice fenced yard for the dogs. The only downside was spotty internet with the TV and since it was rainy most of the time, more reliable access to TV and movies would have been nice. But I would definitely book again!

Well laid out house plan for 8 adults. 4 very comfy beds and plenty of dining and lounging seats for all. The downstairs room with a table for gaming was perfect! Quick walk to the beautiful beach. Everyone in our family loved the stay and all declared we would come back to this property.

Everything was great! Booking, check in, and check out was all super simple. Communication was reliable and quick. The guidebook was incredibly helpful. The house was lovely and super comfortable with easy access to the beautiful and never crowded beach. We stayed here with my mother, in laws, teenager, 9 month old, and our pug. Absolutely everyone had a wonderful time and we’re so grateful to have found this place!
