I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over all I had a pleasant experience. However there were some bugs (roaches I think) and a mouse. I notified West Lake immediately.The home is well stocked, deck work had been preformed since last year and two new deck chairs had been acquired.One thought, there should be 4 deck chairs. Also, get rid of the picnic table.

Stayed May 23, 2025Overall a great experience. The place is older, but well-maintained. Downstairs, the couches are comfortable, the dining room table if a good size (6 fit easily), and the layout is good for everyone being together. Upstairs, things are generally fine, but one of the beds made a bit of noise every time someone moved. Great wrap-around deck with ample seating.Check-in and check-out are via lock-box, so very easy. Clean up procedures were very simple (start the dishwasher, take out the trash).Great location. Easy drive to Emerald Bay and Truckee. About a half mile walk to a small market. Minute walk to a private beach. Great neighborhood overall.Communication with management company was pretty good. One email did go unanswered during our stay, but it ended up not being a big deal. This was during Memorial Day, so it's understandable they were extra busy.

Stayed Aug 5, 2024We had such a great time. House was stocked with everything we needed. There were bears, so having the ability to park the car in the garage was so nice. We loved the beach and location. Clean and cozy.
