Our second stay here and equally amazing as the first!

Beautiful house with amazing views!! Host was very responsive. This just might be our new favorite mountain getaway place!

This was the perfect retreat for three generations of our family. It was excellent for the older folks who have limited mobility and don't need to navigate steps and bathtubs, as well as for children you don't want to have to worry about them falling off a porch or a mountain. Ample sleeping room for all seven of us, great kitchen with every accessory you need, amazing wraparound porch to enjoy the spectacular views. Also plenty to see and do just a short drive away, including the wonders of Mayberry/Mount Airy. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely lovely home. Only suggestion would be tracking on stairs to basement. They are a tad slick.

We were here for my daughter’s wedding in Mt Airy. It was a convenient drive to the venue. The view from the porch was beautiful (minus the ugly house down the road). The house was so spacious with large bedrooms and plenty of room to spread out. Will definitely come back!!

Beautiful location with gorgeous views. Plenty of room for our group of 10. Spotlessly clean. This was our second stay and hopefully, we will stay again in the future.

We had a great time!! The view was unbelievable! It was really a nice house .. very clean, lots of rooms and the kids had a ball! The mountains and blue ridge parkway had so much to do ! Hope to get back there one day!!

House was exceptionally clean. They provided hand soap, dishwasher pods, and great towels. Instructions for getting in and leaving were clear and easy. House stayed cool. Will definitely book again.

It was a family gathering for an Irish Wake in memory of my sister. She loved the mountains and the parkway. This was the perfect place for my siblings to gather and celebrate her life.

The house wwas very clean, pool table and ping pong table was nice. The view from the front porch was terrific. House is cozy all beds are nice and comfy. Would not hesitate to stay here again. I will also add that the host was very friendly.

Such a pretty property! The views really are superb.We rented this for our annual Family Vacation.Group of 8 from age 8 months to 73 years old. The variety available for sleeping arrangements was just perfect. Private space on the second floor with sitting room was great for the family with the baby. The basement bedroom set up was excellent for the older folks, and the main floor bedrooms were exactly what was needed.The amenities were exactly as described! Loved the firepit areaJust a really great stay!!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The whole property was the cleanest rental we have ever had. The views are amazing as well. Grandsons had many things to do as well, ping pong, pool table, games, puzzles and smart TV’s. Great place!

Everything was excellent for sure but having to use the sign in method (?) to find TV programs was a bit burdensome. Unless we missed them, some detailed directions of the TV use would be helpful. Thanks again for everything.

This was a perfect house for a group of 5 friends looking to spend time together and relax. All of the beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and the house had everything we needed! The views were stunning and we loved sitting on the porch and visiting. Not a bad drive into Mt. Airy for food if you wish but we loved just being at the house. Host had excellent and quick communication. Would 100% recommend.

Our family had the most amazing getaway at this lovely property, nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains. The house was exceptionally clean and orderly. The house is also well appointed and everything was useful and comfortable. We felt as though we were coming home. John and Meg were amazing hosts and communicated extremely well Highly recommended for a getaway!

This property is gorgeous! We all really enjoyed our stay. I honestly don’t think I have ever stayed in a cleaner place. Check in was super easy. The view is unbelievable. We will definitely book this place again.

Our stay at Misty Mountain was more than we expected. The views from the house were amazing from the rooms to the front porch with its rockers. It was very welcoming, felt like we were in our own home. The house was very clean and tidy. We will definitely stay there again when in the area.

We loved the Fancy Gap house and would definitely come back again. The views are just amazing. The home is spotless. We had 5 less people than we were planning on, but even if they had made it, there would have been plenty of room.

Super clean home with great views!

Misty Mountain is the perfect place to stay for anyone wanting to relax and spend quality time with family. We had 3 generations of family on this trip, and there was something for everyone to do! The rooms were huge, and there were plenty of beds for all 9 people to have the space they needed. The kids and young adults enjoyed the ping pong table and the pool table, while the older adults enjoyed relaxing on the wrap around porch and in the living room with spectacular mountain views from both. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Everything was great! I would highly recommend this for a relaxing family getaway!

We really enjoyed the beautiful views from the front porch of this property. We looked forward to getting up in the morning and sitting in the rocking chairs overlooking all the beauty around us. The kids loved it as well and really enjoyed the downstairs game room. Highly recommend this for a family.
