Misty Creek | Lakefront + Hot Tub & Access to Community Dock!

The cabin is very nice we love the place and the view, probably more nice if there’s a lot of snow.However some things needs maintenance or needs to be change..The cabinet below right by the fridge(left) is hard to close, the pool table mat need to be fix, sliding door by the main deck is hard to open, the home decor and frames is dusty..Other than that as i said we love and enjoy the place, we will come back hopefully when theres a lot of snow next time! Thank you!

THIS PROPERTY IS IN AWFUL CONDITION, DOORS DON’T OPERATE, WINDOWS WERE COMPLETELY FOGGED AND FLITHY COULDN’T SEE THE VIEW, PLACE WAS FILTHY, MOLD IN BATHROOMS HAD TO BUY NEW SHOWER CURTAINS

Stayed during the middle of September, has easy access to the lake with docking areas. Enjoyed the it is more secluded than other rental properties.

We would come back to Deep Creek especially in the summer. We might look to a different house as the little things were overlooked. The kitchen needs restocking with dishes and silverware. The furniture should be replaced. I didn't hear any complaints about the beds. The hiking trails and state parks are great

We were beach lovers - but have found a need place to built our mountain memories! The house was great & we all enjoyed it's secluded location & dock! Two items for note - very rocky path down to the dock for those of us w/ bad knees; second, the outside chairs in the pictures could not be found!

Reviewer Comments: Based on the rental price paid for the week, I am a bit disappointed with this rental. Broken seals on sliding glass door (detracts from what would otherwise be a beautiful view), sliding screen doors were a hassle, ceiling fan in the master bedroom loft did not work (management did provide box fans) and 2 noisy dehumidifiers had to be run in the basement. One wasn't functioning properly and the other had to be emptied several times a day. Ceiling fan in one of the basement bedrooms wobbles excessively and is a bit noisy as a result. In addition , the furniture was old and dated. Dining room table had a distressed appearance but I don't think that was the intent. Doesn't appear the owner puts much investment back into his/her property. I would definitely not recommend this property at the rental price charged.

When I told the office, they picked it up to clean it and never returned it. Also, this should not be listed as lakefront. It is NOT! You have to walk down a long trail to get to the dock and you cannot even see the water from the house. I have rented lake access homes that were more lakefront than this. The sliding screens on the house were broken and we could not leave the doors open to enjoy the breeze.

Although the home is listed as lake front it really is more of a lake access home. The property is a very steep slope with little view of the cove. The path to the dock is downright dangerous. The hot tub under the deck is not in an area that is conducive to relaxing - it's dark, dirty and buggy. There should be additional patio space or decking as well as additional seating. The fire pit is not really useable do to location on the slope of the property. The home is older and showing signs of wear - sliding doors, windows etc. will definitely look for a different home with a better location next time we visit.
