Situated right on the gentle Missouri River, our quirky 80's style vacation home presents opportunities for both active and slower paced travelers. Tucked away on the river side of our family business, traveler's are blocked from the noise of the road. A river access point on our property that is a couple hundred feet from the rental property allows for guests to venture out kayaking, canoeing, inner tubing or rafting. (No trailoring down our ramp - only crafts you can get in and out of the water by lifting).
The house is 3000 square feet and is ideal for a family or friend group looking for a home to stay in. There are stairs! Please reconsider if you are handicapped / have trouble walking up or down stairs.
Rooms are:
Master bedroom: King sized bed (med-soft), full-sized pullout sofa (soft), little dining set and porch overlooking the river, connecting bathroom, and a walk-in closet
White bedroom: Desk area for work, king-sized bed (soft), walk in closet
Orange bedroom: 2 Queen sized memory foam beds (firm), walk-in closet
Downstairs book nook: pullout queen sofa mattress
Downstairs entertainment area: ping-pong table, board games
Upstairs Living room: TV (no cable) DVD player and movies and comfy couch
Kitchen: Oven, stove, dishwasher, bar-stool (5-6) dining set up
Guests may use our washing and drying machine as well as wi-fi
Please note that parking next to the home is only suitable for 2 vehicles. There is additional parking for 4 vehicles next to our family's business (which is next to our building) as long as additional guests don't mind a minute walk.
Outside:
We have lawn furniture for guests to use. You can also use the river access point that is not on the rental property, but is 150 feet from the rental property. No trailoring down crafts! You can only hand carry them down. There are no outdoor firepits or grills. You are welcome to bring a grill, but no firepits thank you.
Also, the property manager lives above the family's business next door. You will likely see her going in and out of the business next door with her dogs. You will also likely see (during the weekdays), our 2 employees coming in and out of the business next door. Please feel free to grab any one of them if you have questions or would like to visit!
Also!!!! If there is something in the description you don't understand, let us know!

The lodging was centrally located for our business needs, large enough to spread out, and comfortable fit our group of four.
Nice place directly on the Missouri River. Secluded but convenient location.
The space was amazing with a huge kitchen and plenty of space for everyone in our group to spread out. There were also a lot of chairs on the deck area to enjoy the views of the river.
Second visit - everything as promised!
Beautiful, peaceful spot. Love the big outdoor deck and ping pong table where we had some intense games during our stay.
This property is a well maintained property. Only issue was, if you have folks that can not tolerate stairs, you need to re-think this nice home.
Beautiful location, very clean, super service! Owners made a special concession for us that we will be forever grateful for.!
Great location and wonderful view of the river. Had several meals outside on the picnic table overlooking the river.
This worked out great for my family gathering. It’s spacious, quiet and clean, and has a very nice view of the Missouri. There were only eight of us, but it really will sleep 12 if a couple of folks don’t mind using the hide-a-bed sofas. When I say “hideaway,” it means that you’ll first think you’re in the wrong place when driving up to the address. The owners run a business facing the road, and the actual house isn’t visible until you drive around to the back. Once there, there’s a large concrete patio area and a parcel of lawn right against the river: suitable for sitting around and enjoying the placid Missouri River. The grass area is plenty big enough to play yard games like bocce or cornhole. There are tables and plenty of chairs outside. No grill, but the manager graciously offered to loan us one if we really needed it. Inside, the rooms are big and the furniture is comfortable. There’s a huge snack bar in the kitchen with a bunch of high stools. The only thing missing is a dining room table — useful if the group is playing card or board games. Being hidden on the river side of the property, the place is quiet and pretty private. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a gathering place near Great Falls.
My dad & in-laws (all in the upper 80’s) stayed at the house with other family members for a long weekend. Kris was awesome, right there to greet us, very friendly & extremely helpful. What a spacious house! Plenty of sleeping options, a recliner for my mother in law. The stairs are nice & wide, and the parents didn’t seem to have too much difficulty navigating them, especially with using a cane for balance (being able to walk short distances us a necessity with this property). The kitchen & a bathroom (plus a huge bedroom w/balcony) are upstairs, so once the parents were upstairs they could stay there for awhile. It was SO relaxing sitting on the patio or balcony watching river. We had beautiful weather, so we were fortunate. There is a little grass area where we played some yard games, which we really enjoyed (you’d definitely need to keep an eye on small children, as it is right next to the river). It is a short distance from town, which added to the appeal for us, so you need to drive to get any groceries. All of us agree we would definitely stay here again!
