Portland, Oregon
Old & new with asian touches blend together in our restored craftsman bungalow. We attempt to keep our house as much a working sanctuary as possible.
The historic Mississippi District lies on a little bluff just a stones throw of city center. It is an old Portland neighborhood dating back to the shipyard days and is part of what was known as Albina city in 1891. Since then it has become place for culture and excitement.
Within a block of the home lies plenty of unique shops, boutiques, restaurants, food carts, breweries, pubs and live entertainment. Portland and the surrounding wilds beckon in the background.
The house is comfortable and relaxing while the neighborhood is active and exciting with restaurants and bars and coffee shops within easy walking distance.
The house was very clean and Mark was easy to communicate with. Came for vacation with friends. Really can't play music very loud outside at night on patio as neighbors are so close. Had a breaker trip first night which kept a bedroom mostly out of service, but was fixed the next day.
Great location Clean more instructions: how to use heat, TV,
We throughly enjoyed our stay in Portland. The property was very nice, well equipped, and met all of our needs. Check in and out were easy and the expectations clear. The location was amazing. Mississippi ave is just a very short walk with lots to offer. I highly recommend getting out and exploring. We spent mornings on the deck enjoying cups of coffee and our evenings sitting outside by the fire. It was a trip we’ll always remember.
Great location. Clean and comfortable!
Nice and clean place. Host was accommodating.
The house has a good layout for groups, 3-4 private bedrooms for varying sleep schedules and space for socializing without disrupting others. The kitchen has everything you'd need to stay in and cook, but being a block from mississippi is a tempting alternative. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
