Mississippi Blues & Beach Cottage - Perfectly Located in Gulfport!

Enjoyed our stay at the property. Very conveniently located and the host was excellent.

The location is great. It’s located in walking distance of the beachfront, casinos, the piers.

The rooms were clean. The kitchen was well stocked with basic amenities. The casino was very close by.

The beach wasn't far and either was the shopping district! We enjoyed our stay and would def recommend to others.

We had a great stay! The house was perfect for my boyfriend and me. It was close to everything but still in a quiet neighborhood. The home is older but very nicely updated, clean, and well appointed. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the owner was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.I also wanted to address two things I saw mentioned in other reviews. The clawfoot tub/shower does sit a little higher than a standard tub, but there is a handle and a step stool provided to make getting in and out easier. I’m only 5’1” and managed just fine. We also noticed the occasional train noise, but it wasn’t excessive and did not bother us during our stay.We come to the Gulf Coast every year and will definitely look to book this house again for future trips.

Very responsive host.

This property is a mid-century wood house. If you like older houses this house has the charm for you. Very close to downtown Gulfport. Only draw backs are the house is not level in certain areas and there are train tracks very close by so you can hear train horns from time to time inside the house. Great furniture… and I appreciated the new refrigerator and very nice cooking equipment.

The place was exactly what we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the location could not have been better. We didn't make use of a lot of the amenities the place had to offer but it was definitely well equipped and provided all of the essentials and then some.

Nice place. Quite clean. Could use more mixing bowls and baking pans, maybe another roll of toilet paper. Over all, it was a cute little cottage.

it was an awesome stay , never been to Gulfport, MS before. It’s accessible to beach and casino , value for the money is a understatement , large bedrooms and fully stocked sheets and towels and I park on the driveway slot

We had ample space and everything we needed. The location was fantastic, close to beaches and casinos.

If you do not want to stay in an overpriced hotel then this is the place for you. Very spacious and all the amenities of a normal house. The property manager was very nice and accommodating. The beach is very close and the casino even closer. Overall we were happy with our stay but in full transparency there were a couple small things that we weren’t too happy about. The floors didn’t seemed to have been mopped well (if at all), our feet got dirty within minutes of checking in. There is a train very close that will most likely wake you up once or twice a night. The neighborhood felt safe but there were some unusual characters passing through, sometimes panhandling.

This Vrbo was a total disappointment, shady area, all windows and doors leak, some windows were stuck open an inch with nails holding them shut. The back door was plywood nailed shut so only one way out. Stains on all ceilings, mold and mildew, toilet was almost throigh the floor.

This modest property suited our needs nicely. Very adequate for the price. Will be trying to rebook
