Stayed Aug 7, 2019We had a nice experience! It's a charming house in a really lovely neighborhood. We could walk easily to two grocery stores, several delicious dinner spots, and a fantastic coffee stand just one block away. The parking was challenging at times, but we were fortunate enough to find space on the street within a block every time. The drive into downtown San Diego was a breeze & never took more than 10 minutes. I would only note that the AC is a window unit in the living room. There are times the house felt stuffy, especially returning after a long day out. But we'd leave the front door open & the nice breeze from outside helped. The owners include freestanding fans in both bedrooms, which was also beneficial. We didn't mind sleeping to the sound of fans, but if you do, keep that in mind. The kitchen will feel tight it you take up much space while cooking or have two cooking at the same time. But having only made two light dinners in and easy breakfasts, it worked just fine. I'd recommend it to others and would happily return.

Stayed Jun 28, 2019This cottage was perfect for me, my husband, and my parents. Very walkable to local restaurants, Jo's Cafe was our favorite! It's a short drive to the beach. Loved it!

Stayed Nov 21, 2018Needed a place to get away from work with my boys (pups). Chose this place as it was close to many of my friends homes. The neighborhood was great, with plenty of places to grab a bite, or get a coffee. The home was minimal, clean, and cozy. I honestly would buy the place if they sold it. Had a great feel and plenty of room for such a small place. Highly Recommend it!

Stayed Jun 29, 2018Perfect spot for our family of two adults and two kids. House has all the necessary amenities. Several great restaurants literally down the block. Get your craft beer at Falcon liquor and 3 minute drive from Hillcrest/University shops and restaurants. Close to freeways to access the rest San Diego has to offer.

Stayed Jun 9, 2018This cozy little home hosted me and some friends for a bachelorette weekend and we had a blast. The location can not be beat - it is right in Hillcrest and is close and in walking distance to a bunch of cool places. Would stay again!
