Homey 2 story. Super close to the beach - a very short walk (ocean or bay, both). Friendly neighborhood with lots of other rentals sharing a walkway. Nice hardwood floors. Having the garage is so amazing in a place with such limited parking. Did get quite warm upstairs in the 2 bedrooms, in particular during the heat of the day. Nice that the upstairs bathroom is not connected to either bedroom so they are able to share. This is the first place so I've stayed at where the owner of met us in person for check-in and did a quick tour of the house...a nice personal-touch. Beds were comfy. Plenty of beach gear. Two markets and multiple restaurants are super close and an easy walk if you don't feel like cooking. Kitchen got a little cozy with 4 of us sometimes! Patio was definitely where we spent a good amount of time. Although the frequent noise of airplanes was a bother and definitely a conversation interrupter...and had us up early, as they are tough to sleep through! Also I love mid-day maps on vacation, however it was super warm upstairs and there was loud music and babies crying-which is not the home owners fault but still a bummer. Enjoyed frequent walks in the morning along the beach to find shells and listen to the waves.

We enjoyed it because it was located just south of all the business going on at Mission Beach yet close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Great little cottage on a quiet court and very short walk to the beach. Great patio and everything we needed! Owners were super responsive and nice. Also great to have garage parking! Will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was plenty big for 6 adults and near a market and restaurants. We loved the large patio and the tree that gave us wonderful shade after a long day at the beach. It is a short walk to either the beach or the bay. Lots of beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, etc. It was wonderful.

Everything was wonderful! Great location - walking distance to Belmont and the beach. Close to SeaWorld and other attractions. Great shaded front patio. We just so happen to stay during a heat wave but we managed. Will definitely return in the future.

We loved our stay at this well-cared for home. It is located just steps from both the ocean and the bay on a relatively quiet court at the somewhat south end of Mission Beach. The house is not new, but everything was in good working condition and it had a sort of nostalgic charm. The patio was the highlight of the property. We pretty much lived there during waking hours. It is naturally shaded by the beautiful trees during the day and the tiki torches set a nice ambience in the evenings, with plenty of seating for everyone. The place was well-equipped with everything you need for a week at the beach. What we like about this area is that it is away from the hustle and bustle of North Mission and Pacific Beaches, but still a quick walk to Belmont Park, markets, and restaurants. We really couldn't have asked for more. Thanks!

front porch was very shady & quiet-lots of fly's so the front door needed to be closed all the time. This charming property is located on a quiet court close to everything you need. Plenty of room inside & very well stocked with amenities....towels, beach towels, bikes & beach chair the kitchen was well stocked....beware the upstairs can be a little warm with no a/c. over all - this vintage little beach cottage was very comfortable! The owner is very accommodating & pleasant to rent from .
