Stayed Jul 23, 2025The place itself was wonderful, quiet, spacious, nothing lacking at all. Parking was a bit of a challenge at times, but we got the hang of it! Karen, the owner/manager went above and beyond to answer any and all questions and make everything work for us. It was terrific!!

Stayed Jun 6, 2026We appreciated the provided toilet seat covers. It was a thoughtful touch and not something you typically find in vacation rentals. One suggestion for improvement would be to add a few heavy-duty hooks to the backs of the bedroom and closet doors to provide guests with additional places to hang towels and clothing.Overall, we had a great stay. The neighborhood was very walkable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. One thing future guests should be aware of is that there is no assigned parking space. Street parking is available through Seattle’s residential zone parking system, so you’ll need to find an open spot within the permitted zone (Zone 2). Parking can be challenging, especially after 5pm, and generally becomes more difficult later in the evening.Other than that, we have no complaints. This is a great option for anyone visiting Seattle!

Stayed Apr 5, 2026This is a unique property with a lot of space and a great location. There is a small park across the street, tons of nearby restaurants, and a quick drive to all the tourist hotspots. The bedrooms are spacious, the new washer and dryer worked great, and we never ran out of hot water. However, there are some drawbacks to the location, like parking. There were so many evenings when we would get back to the house to find that there was absolutely no space available in the zone designated on our pass. This nightly struggle really soured our entire stay in Seattle. Several nights we were forced to put the car in the driveway, blocking access to the garage and the sidewalk. One evening, we got a ticket for blocking the sidewalk. Parking was so stressful that the 69 parking ticket was totally worth it to not have to circle the neighborhood for 30 minutes before giving up. I emailed Karen before we arrived about parking, because I had a feeling it would be difficult, but she never replied.Another problem we had was with the A/C and the heat. They both worked well, but they are independent systems; and they were both on at the same time, competing with each other. I emailed Karen about it the evening we arrived, but she did not reply over the duration of our 10 day stay. Ultimately, I was forced to just unplug the thermostat for the heat so that it would shut off. When the weather cooled off, I plugged it back in.It was a good value, and I would stay again-- only without a car.

Stayed Dec 22, 2025Wonderful home! We came for Christmas break. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to make our favorite Christmas cookies and cook our traditional dinner. The large living room vent that we could host my sister’s family and play games at the dining room table. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Stayed Nov 25, 2025Parking is a problem. There is only one slot available and you have to roam around the block to find one. One of the bedroom had a very musky smell. The private bathroom does not lock.Otherwise it’s a nice cozy small place. Very close to the city.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025The house and location were great until we discovered bedbug spots on the bedding after one guest noticed bite spots on her body. The host insisted the spots were just mosquito bites and the bedding was just torn. We researched that bites can continue to show up hours and days after being bitten and what bedding looks like if it has bed bugs and the bedding looked similar. We evacuated half way through our trip. It was very inconvenient as we had to run all our clothing through the dryer to ensure we did not bring any bugs home and that we did not take any to the second location that we moved to. We incurred expenses from moving to another location and did not finish out entire stay at this location. The time we spent on this detracted from our short visit in Seattle. The host was not understanding as she had originally asked me for photos of the bites and bedding, but hen I sent her a few more pictures of the bites, she e-mailed that it was not necessary for me to continue to send her pictures of the bites. The situation was unfortunate. I hope that the location is treated for bugs so that no one has to experience what we went through. It is a great location and overall a very nice place.

Stayed Jul 29, 2025We loved the house - it was perfect for the 6 of us. Well equipped kitchen and so nice that coffee was provided. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Nearby restaurants. Only complaint is trying to get a response from the host as we would have liked an early check in

Stayed Jul 10, 2025The space was perfect for our group. Nice park across the street and central to our needs including coffee shops. The awkwardness of the second bathroom use didn't impact us as it appeared the were no meetings during our stay; perhaps because of the July stay. The parking pass was very helpful. We use SpotHero for our second car.

Stayed Jun 7, 2025Loved the beautiful grounds, the accommodations, and proximity to town. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. Only issue we encountered was access to parking, which was very limited. A couple times we searched a couple streets nearby for a spot. We did end up getting an 80 parking ticket for parking too near a line by the b&b. The entire area in front of it was a 'delivery area'.

Stayed Mar 21, 2025This was our family's first time in Seattle. While the house was not super updated, it had plenty of room. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, especially being able to make coffee after a late arrival on our first night. There was plenty of space for our family to be together and we managed the shared bathroom without any issues. The house was chilly, but we did not have access to the thermostat. Maybe having some additional blankets to cozy up would be helpful.
