“Mint Julep” – Best of WaterColor! Golf Cart, Pool & Hot Tub

Giving a very objective review of this property as a business owner who has seen the good and bad and as someone who tries to stick to the facts. The property is in a great location and the house is generally beautiful. Plenty of space, comfy beds, and very clean inside. The beef I have is that the heated pool was not able to be heated due to a broken control board. The result was a freezing pool and no hot tub as they are all interconnected. The whole reason we chose this property over other contenders for our March vacation was for the heated on property pool. The management company said only the owner can offer any concessions for that issue. The owner, his name is Jimmy, called and took the position of “there really isnt anything we can do about that other than give the the heating fee back.” The heating fee being returned is to be expected. He was 100% unwilling to offer up anything else, though, despite the fact that a significant reason we rented this house was unavailable to us at no fault of our own. VERY poor business ethic to say the least - and he doubled down on that in the way he spoke to me and flat out denied the need to take responsibility for his problem. I would not do business with this slum lord.

Mint Julep also has many outside amenities of which we took full advantage - bed / swing, screened porch, and pool / hot tub. We are already looking forward to a return visit to this great house.

Extra amenities like golf cart and bikes were perfect. We had a minor issue with the pool but maintenance was very timely responding to this issue. Would highly recommend this house for future stays.

Beautiful, very clean, and great location

As nice, or nicer, than photos. This was our first visit to area and found this to be a great location for all things Watercolor and Seaside. Especially with the golf cart.Code access and parking is in back. And the pool alarm on the back door is tricky- but I think that is a Florida thing.

We were hesitant about the distance from the beach but the tram and golf cart were amazing! It didn’t feel far at all! Being so close to camp watercolor with our 6 kids under 5 was a huge plus. We brought their scooters and they loved scooting to the pool. The house was the perfect size for 3 families. The bunk/play room was an added bonus for all the kids! We didn’t get to take advantage of all the bunks since our kids are younger. This house would be perfect for a family with older children, too. There was just so much space! I can’t say enough good things about sand dollar one. They were only a text away if I had any questions and were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be renting from their company again. I HIGHLY recommend this house!!! The street was also very quiet for it being 4th of July week. This house has it all!! Thanks for a great first stay in watercolor!!!

We had a great vacation! The house was great and host was easy to get ahold of.

The Mint Julep was perfect for us 6 adults and 4 grandkids. Our stay was flawless, the house was comfortable, convenient to the Watercolor facilities and the beach. The pool was great for early morning swims and late after beach swims. Its location in Watercolor makes it a short 2 minute walk to the pools and a short bike ride or golf cart ride to the beach club (5 minutes). bedrooms were great and the living area more than enough for all of us. Parking for 3 vehicles was a plus. We highly recommend the Mint Julep for a stay at Watercolor or Santa Rosa Beach. The trolley app also was great where you can order up a trolley ride to the Watercolor facilities and they pick you up and drop you off right in front of the house. Highly recommended.

The house was clean and we were able to check in early. Having six bikes and a golf cart on the property (all in working condition!) when we got there was very convenient. We loved having the pool in the backyard as well as the grill. The property management company was responsive when we called. No issues at all. We had a great week and would highly recommend this house!
