Mingus Park Place - Coos Bay

Very charming house and good up to date amenities. 3 bed 2 bath a plus. WiFi a bit glitchy at various times but blips are short lived. Easy access to coffee, downtown and 20 mins to coast/sunset bay. Easy access to bandon dunes if you are golfing and could easily split with 4 people. Coos bay seems like a town you could rewind the clock to 1985 and it wouldn’t look much different.

We all really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a good size as are the bathrooms. Each room has an individual heater which works quickly, which is great when you have three adults who all like different temperatures.

Beautiful home in a great location close to sights in Coos Bay and sights along the coast. The home comfortably fit a group of 6 that included one child. The host was easy to contact for any questions. Amenities were clean and worked well and fit our needs for a long weekend stay.

We were here just for a short stay. The beds were super comfy. Everything was clean. It has a great vibe.

Parking was a bit difficult, and the street was oddly busy. Property was clean and very comfortable, closet under stairwell was locked with extension cord under the door, not sure what that was all about. Would probably stay there again

This home was in a fantastic location, across the street from Mingus Park and close to all the great downtown shops and restaurants. It was clean, cozy and super comfy, and the host was amazing! We would absolutely stay here again!

Fabulous location (not even a top priority in my book, but a great perk!) and super responsive host; Sabrina is the best! Loved the ability to actually cook in the kitchen — nothing missing — and loved the BEDS! Husband said the same thing! The laundry room was a life-saver. Will return if I can ever get back to that side of the country. Beyond clean, beyond lovely!!

Lovely house. Very clean, updated, plenty of space. Perfect jumping off point for touring the coast. Selina was very helpful.

This is an immaculate house and it was a pleasure to stay there! Anytime my family meets together in the area we will definitely stay here if it’s available. There was some minor construction going on in the park across the street each day, but that as totally out of the owners control—and it was minor construction, so it should be finished by the time anyone reads this!Thank you so much!

Great location, BEAUTIFUL home, fully stocked. Great communication and rooftop deck so enjoyable.

The property was spacious and offered lots of amenities. Was a good location, and the upstairs rooftop deck was quite nice. Communication with host was top notch. Was a good place to relax after a busy day.

We enjoyed the park and the convenient location. Well organized and plenty of room for family.

We loved our stay - there wasn’t anything we needed that had not been provided. Beautiful park across the street that provided much needed exercise from a long road trip from Kansas! Will recommend to family - we have a granddaughter in college in the area.

We loved everything about it except having to park on the street. but inside is very nice and clean! We would come again for sure. All the supplies, kitchen tools, and bathroom toiletries were great. They even had both a coffee pot and pod coffee maker with pods. They also had a patio! The fireplace was great as well. This place thoughtful consideration for anything a traveler would need. The location was both a highlight and the only crticism by our group. It is easy to access, located right next to Mingus park, and central to many fun activities. Unfortunately traffic on 10th Street, barking dogs, quarreling people, pedestrians in front of the house disturbed sleep for guests in upstairs bedrooms.Selina is an excellent hosts providing that perfect balance of assuring we were OK without at all intruding on our orivacy. My wife and I were in the back first floor bedroom and heard NO noise except brief garbage collection one morning. Garbage collection is noisy anywhere. No problem. I thiroughly enjoyed my stay and would look forward to returning. I did a couple of fun early morning excursions in the park to walk and shoot photos.

Selina was the sweetest host and had the heater on to have the house cozy when we arrived :) She was communicative and all instructions were clear/easy to follow. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We’ll absolutely check this home for availability when planning our next trip!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Mingus home! It was very clean and everything we needed was accessible! We traveled as 2 families my husband and I stayed on the main floor with the bathroom across the hall and gave our friends and their 2 adult kids the rooms upstairs! They were simply delighted with the coffee bar up there! We were finally able to use the amazing upstairs private porch for dinner as the weather the first few days was a little bit turbulent. And communication with the owner was outstanding! She was a dear to work with! Would definitely stay here again!!

Although the tuna fishing trip we came for was canceled due to weather we still enjoyed our comfortable stay at Mingus Park. Would recommend this place 100%.

House was cute and had everything we needed. It was a tad stuffy in there until we got all the windows opened up. Property owner was nice and easy to work with. Definitely recommended.

Great home to stay in. Will be back. Only negatives were no EV parking (if that matters to you) and back yard was overgrown. Neither will deter us from coming back. Close to shopping and some restaurants and kitchen is very user friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable.

The owner cared about our comfort. The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Upstairs rooms were rather warm, but opening windows helped.
