This two bedroom holiday cottage is set in a private bush setting and provides a great base to explore Golden Bay. Across the road is the unique Milnthorpe Revegetation Project with its walking tracks and sculpture trail. A couple of minutes stroll takes you to a safe beach for swimming, fishing and boating. Stayed Feb 16, 2026We love staying at this property as it is a perfect place for us to stay with our dogs. They love the park, which is just across the road, and we feel confident leaving them on the property if we want to go out on the water or visit shops without them. The house is always clean and well maintained.

Stayed Dec 19, 2025Sandy and David were terrific. They welcomed us warmly and gave us some helpful information on the area. The house was warm and clean. The yard was great. The location was amazing, with the Milnthorpe walks, beautiful beach, and area to kayak. Colingwood was a few kms away to grab a coffee and some food. I totally recommend this stay and will be returning! Thank you Sandy and David!!

Stayed Sep 21, 2025A dog friendly, spacious house with enclosed yard. Amazing location for dogs with Milnthorpe Park and the beach both accessible straight out of the gate. House has a slightly utilitarian feel to it but was well equipped and held its heat well once warmed up. We had a great stay and look forward to another trip.

The bedrooms were cosy and comfortable.We didn't need to leave the area as Milnthorpe is so beautiful with lovely walks, swimming and gorgeous beaches.Thank you Sandy
