Mill Race Lodge I Waterfront, Pool, Wimberley

The House was fantastic, it was really cool to stay in, and the Log Cabin style was comfortable and beautiful. The backyard was awesome with great access and seating on the banks of Cypress Creek. Hope to book the Mill Race Lodge again.

The only downside is we couldn't stay longer. Oh, and there was a burn ban, so we couldn't have a fire in the wonderful fire pit by the creek. Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Highly recommend, and hope to be back again for a longer stay.

We were so impressed. Perfect location. Kids and adults played in the creek and pool. The house was spotless and had everything that we needed and more. The beds were comfortable. We are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend.

The location of the property was convenient for walking into town. The backyard facing the creek provided a nice environment to hang out throughout the day. The interior of the house was clean and cozy. I would recommend this VRBO to friends.

This place was perfect for our girls weekend! It was a beautiful, spacious, and homey cabin. There were so many amenities: the pool, a basketball court, lounge chairs by the fire, access to the lake. The location is a short walk into town, but would not recommend doing the walk after dark because the road leading into it is very poorly lit at night. We loved our stay so much that we all plan on renting it again with our families and children!

We were looking forward to an in-Texas mini spring break getaway for our family. Mill Race Lodge was an excellent choice! It was a beautiful log cabin like house with all the amenities we needed. It’s close to everything in Wimberly and has a beautiful view backing up to the creek. We will come back when it’s warmer for some outside water fun and highly recommend this property. If I had a question I received a prompt reply. Couldn’t have had a better time!

We rented this gorgeous house as a Spring Break getaway and it was perfect. Very clean and within walking distance to the main shopping area. The home had everything we needed! Even though the water was still a little chilly, we really enjoyed the beautiful pool. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you to the owners and property manager for making our stay so enjoyable.

Race Mill Lodge is a beautiful property, brimming with character and charm. We had an amazing time and the kids were spoilt for choice for activities. Can’t recommend this place highly enough - we loved it!

We were in Wimberly for a magical weekend to celebrate our daughters’s wedding to her fiancé. Our son and his family with two children stayed at Mill Race Lodge. We loved the game room and outdoor pool, trampoline for the kids. The adults especially enjoyed the beautiful art collection and the chefs kitchen and the feeling of a magical experience. We had a wonderful stay at this perfectly located property on Cypress Creek! The property is situated within two minutes of either the town square or the local HEB, and you're only 5-10 minutes from nearby breweries and wineries. The house has a great outdoor setting, with a fire pit and plenty of seating -- there's also a large table down by the creek to sip your morning coffee and ease into the day. The bedrooms are large and great for families old and young, and there's a large gameroom upstairs that has air hockey, foosball and a large TV. The best part is the pool out front that we spent a lot of time at! Even though the pool is out front, there is very little traffic on this street and so you have a sense of privacy anyway. Well-stocked kitchen and we took full advantage of both it and the grill outside. Recommend this place highly!
