Midway Retreat: family and pet-friendly 3 bedroom 2 bath home

Amazing VRBO! Extremely well equipped for our long-term stay. The location is very convenient, the place is spotless, and the hosts are easy to contact with quick responses (for example, we asked if there was a small stool, the host brought a new one to the house that same day). Very pet friendly house with dog beds and bowls, and both a neighborhood dog park within walking distance and a larger one about a 10 minute drive away. We definitely recommend staying here!

The Midway Retreat is an excellent property. The neighborhood is very good. Plenty of good restaurants in the area. My wife thought the kitchen was a dream. She loved the layout and counter space. The house has plenty of space for everyone. Very clean. Easy access to highway and getting downtown. We will definitely stay there again the next time that we visit San Antonio.

This home is a perfect 10 out of 10. It is beautiful inside and out, in a wonderful neighborhood, and had every amenity that we could possibly wish for. The hosts thought of everything. We have done many VRBO‘s and this one is right at the top of the list. This is how a VRBO should be.

I rented this property for family coming in from out of town for my son’s high school graduation. The property was clean, organized and had everything they needed. My parents couldn’t stop raving about the place! Lots of space and no weird smells. Looked so good I thought about staying there myself!

This lil hidden gem in a San Antonio is just how it is described of area. The pics shown on VRBO are spot on. The neighborhood was quiet & beautiful. My husband & I loved the backyard patio area. It was nice to sit out and relax drinking coffee in a.m. or sitting out in the evening. The beach theme throughout the house was a plus, as I love the beach. The dog park was a short walk away. The communal pool was still being renovated at the time of our stay, but it didn’t affect our stay. Natalie & Larry were great hosts. Very attentive to any questions asked. Natalie checked with us often to how our stay was going at the house, making sure we were happy with everything this home offers to visitors, even though it wasn’t necessary. lol Highly recommend this property. It was about 35 mts to the River Walk. My husband & I were there for family, so we didn’t get to do more activities. I hear Natural Bridge Cavern id a “must do” though, perhaps another stay in the future. Thank you Natalie & Larry for your hospitality. 🥰

This house was perfect for our Easter weekend with our daughter who attends UTSA. Super clean and we felt like we were in our home. The host were very thoughtful in setting the home up! Everything you need is there. We definitely enjoyed it!

We were only in town for a short trip, but everything was perfect. The home was very clean and organized. We loved sitting outside. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.

Our stay was great in this ideally located home. It was close enough to shopping and family while tucked away from too much traffic. The house had everything we needed and was the perfect fit for 4 adults. I would highly recommend it.

This house was cute and clean. There was plenty of comfortable seating, and a cute back yard. The kitchen was very well stocked. We will book here again if we are in San Antonio.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean & surprisingly spacious. It was bigger than the pictures made it look. Kitchen was very well stocked. Backyard has plenty of space to hangout also. Very convenient access to the interstate and right around the corner from Walmart & grocery store. Would definitely recommend.
