Was ideal for a weekend away. A very comfortabele area for hanging with friends with great views and natural light, well stocked kitchen for homemade meals, easy access to downtown and other attractions. A perfect getaway and extremely cozy

Fireplace was great. Setting was great. Love the boulders and the woodsy fall atmosphere. The architecture of the house is wonderful. It lets you get great views of the woods. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet house in the woods, with 2 enormous bedrooms. Downstairs master with plenty of space for two pack-n-plays for our twin toddlers and room to spread out and play. They loved the swing set! Thank you, Sascha, for a wonderful stay!

We absolutely LOVED the house. It was a mid-century modern dream and we really hope to come back. It is a gorgeous home, looks just like the pictures, with plenty of privacy and surrounding space. A true hidden gem. We loved having coffee on the porch and seeing the trees from the living room, and it's such a short drive to downtown New Paltz. My only recommendation is to remember to bring an eye mask as the windows and skylight keep the rooms pretty bright in the mornings.

If you want a real cabin in the woods experience, this is the place for you! It is tucked neatly within trees and boulders! 4 of us enjoyed the home and close location to downtown NEW PALTZ and so much beauty! Sasha and his team were very quick to respond to any questions, which were all easily answered. A great place!

Check in was super easy and accomodating. Front door was always easy in, easy out. Kitchen was well stocked as was the entire house. I miss the living room so much. My family wished we had been able to stay longer. It was a peaceful respite after several days in the city. Great convenient location as well. Thank you for sharing!!

Peaceful and relaxing home in the woods! Very comfortable for two couples, second bedroom was a loft above the living room but felt very private and had it's own full bathroom. Beautiful light coming in through wall of windows!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was well-appointed and the location is very convenient to New Paltz. WiFi was good and the beds were comfortable. The host was very responsive. Upon arrival we were given instructions about the dehumidifier in the basement, which we followed, but we didn’t use that floor at all as it felt a little damp (this was not a surprise). The tv was in this space. That said, the cabin could benefit from some updates and a deeper clean. While it was tidy on the surface, a little extra attention to details like dusting the stairs or living room light fixture, coffee maker cleaned, would make the experience more comfortable. It would have been nice to have some outdoor furniture besides the dining set to sit on since the outdoor setting is so nice. The outdoor dining set was also a little buggy being it’s the woods, but it could have been easily cleaned for use upon arrival. Those are small things, but we struggled if this was worth the cost for those reasons.Overall, we had a nice time and it was a pleasant stay.

Sascha was very accommodating with our last minute, shortened stay. The house is very spacious and clean for our family of 4 adults. The location was key for us as we spent most of our time at Mohonk Mountain House - only about 10 mins away. Town is also super close for shopping and eating. I highly recommend this house and am hoping to stay longer in the future.

It was the perfect home base for a family birthday get away. The home has everything one would need to feel right at home. Gorgeous views of the trees, quiet and just minutes from downtown New Paltz.

We came up for a week to participate in The Ride for Mental Health. Great location, comfy house, responsive host. We love the New Paltz area and hope to return to the same house in the fall.

The house is a stunning place to stay. It's very comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with every device and item you could imagine. Sascha, the owner, responds promptly to all messages and has always taken care of any problems immediately. This is our 3rd time renting here. We are a group of runners that come to participate in a 50 mile run at the Mohonk Preserve that is a major fundraiser for them. The house is 5 minutes away and has served as an extremely convenient staging area for our team.

Lovely modern cabin in the woods with large bedrooms, big windows to let in light, very well-appointed without unnecessary clutter, owner quickly responsive. We were four older adults who did some touring and walking -- this would be lovely for children too, as there is a swing set and a tree house and rocks to climb

Awesome location if you’re looking to explore around “the gunks”.Minutes from Mohong, Minnewaska, restaurants and grocery store.Host Sascha is responsive and accommodating Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice quiet place that is private yet close to everything.

We needed some downtime and wanted to hang with friends. This property was quiet and gave us the space we needed to relax. We are familiar with the area so we were close to all the things we wanted to do. The home is full of natural light with many windows to take in nature. If you like to sleep in, I recommend bringing sleep masks to block some of the morning light. Bed and accommodations were comfortable and ample. Perfect location to many must do activities and great restaurants. Master bedroom on main level close to bathroom. Second king bed is in the loft above the main living space with private bath. Third sleeping space in finished basement with private bath also. Nice deck with table and chairs.

The house is really cool and cute. Feels secluded but is still close to the “downtown”. Great mid century vibes and the fireplace was a lot of fun. Sascha was also very responsive to messages.

We loved this home. Beds were comfortable, the common rooms were perfect for hanging out in front of the fireplace/cooking, eating together. It was a well equipped kitchen. Would love to stay here again in the summer when it must be an entirely different great home to stay in.

The home is nestled in the woods and surrounded by amazing boulders . The mid century home is comfortable and stunning . We stayed at the house for a quiet weekend visiting friends in the area. The home is well equipped and a joy to stay and relax in . The area is a hikers dream and there are many amazing places to explore . The working fireplace adds a magical atmosphere. We hope to visit this property again .

A comfortable if older home with lots of natural light in the woods near New Paltz and Mohonk. Outdoor table and chairs plus grill make summer great. Host was very responsive and helpful. House could use a comfortable chair or two.

Loved staying at this cabin and we were sad to leave! The property is unique with all of the boulders and the cabin is well designed to take advantage of the views. It is a peaceful retreat, yet very close to town for supplies/dining. Cabin is clean and well appointed with all you need. (We only used the main floor so cannot comment on the loft or basement.) Saw deer several times during our stay, one with a fawn (adorable)! Host was lightening fast answering any questions we had. Highly recommend!
