Midcentury Cool – Palm Springs Modern Home

The house and especially the backyard and pool was the perfect environment for a get together with good friends.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet/relaxing getaway and this house was perfect. The interior touches are very nice and the private pool in the backyard is very relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is situated within minutes of the airport and a very easy 1.5 mile walk to downtown Palm Springs.

We were relocated to another Acme property bc this one became unavailable. We found the San Lucas hideout lovely and we would love to stay again. Our hosts were responsive to our needs and helpful. They went above and beyond for us!

Great host, easy, complete communication, property accurate to photos, and overall a very enjoyable stay. I would visit again!

We four sisters had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The kitchen was well equipped and the pool, hot tub and exterior furniture were perfect. Lovely views of the mountains and close to everything. Very comfortable!

We had such a lovely time at this home. We loved lounging by the pool, grilling and eating outside, and taking a dip in the hot tub when the weather cooled. The house is a 3 minute drive to Ruth Hardy Park where we played tennis every day.

My husband and I along with our two adult daughters drove from Alberta to our little haven in Palm Springs for just over a week long stay. We were very impressed with Acme House Company. Prior to our arrival they were very prompt at replying to any questions and provided us with detailed information regarding check in a week prior to our arrival. They also texted the information a day before. The house is exactly as pictured and was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was very clean and well stocked. We didn’t cook at all but the kitchen had all the dishes etc. that you would need. There were plenty of towels for showers and for the pool. The beds are comfortable and there were extra blankets available. The location was very convenient. It was just a short drive to downtown. The backyard felt very private with tall hedges surrounding it and we enjoyed our morning walks through the neighborhood. The pool was great! We noticed that it felt cool a few days in and that our controls for the spa didn’t work so we contacted Acme and they were on it immediately. They ended up sending out a pool vendor to check it out and the poor guy came at 8:30 pm. He got the spa running and fixed the temperature in the pool. We told him we could wait until the next day to fix the control in the house since it was so late. They came back the next day and repaired the controls. They were super friendly and clearly competent as they got everything up and running very quickly. We really enjoyed the spa in the evenings after that. All in all, this place was perfect for us and we would highly recommend it and the Acme House company for any Palm Springs rentals. They have stellar customer service!

This was a perfect rental for our family vacation in Palm Springs. Spacious, comfortable, stylish, and well stocked with all the essentials. Safe and quiet neighborhood, yet centrally located. Great communication from the management company. Loved it!

This home was very clean… with great pool and spa. We were supplied with enough coffee for the week as well as creamer and sugar. Abundance of kitchen supplies! My only slight issue is that many things were not meant for someone 5’1” tall. There was no wad I could reach most of the dishes and glasses as well as a squeegee in the shower to help keep the glass clean. Could not even reach the buttons for garbage disposal. Luckily, tall husband was there! But all In all… great home and neighborhood.!
