Wilmington, North Carolina
This mid-century modern rancher is a true charm - we fell in love with it the moment we stepped inside! The rooms are styled with the mid-century aesthetic in mind.
Situated on a large lot over-looking beautiful Beaumont Park, the home also features a large fenced-in and private park-like backyard. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a beautiful dining room over-looking the back yard. Three comfy bedrooms with 2 full baths makes it easy to retire and shower without interference. The master bath is brand new and was just added this summer. The main living area centers around a huge picture window overlooking the park. In addition, there is a very large television, two large couches and additional seating - plenty of room for all. There is also a side room where one can relax, read or use the desk for work.
The yard is beautiful and park-like. This home is close to Historic Downtown Wilmington; the Hospital, UNCW, shopping at Hanover Center and Independence Mall, Empie Park, YMCA, Screen Gems Studios, the airport, many restaurants and area beaches. Easy walking distance to Wilmington's beloved Indochine Thai Restaurant and across the street from Beaumont Park where children can play and run and you can shoot some hoops.
This home is professionally cleaned and shows like new! Plenty of driveway and on-street parking. Beautiful, safe Beaumont neighborhood.
Home was not a far drive from downtown, very nicely decorated and set up. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
This house is beautiful! Inside and out. Better than the pictures and very clean. Master bathroom is luxurious. Beds are comfortable with quality linens and towels. Kitchen is well stocked. Host was wonderful to work with answering any questions we had quickly. We will definitely be back.
Located near everything you are going to need for your vacation. Lovely house. Only thing needed is a Keurig machine.
Excellent location within walking distance of amazing Thai restaurant. Oh of one minute walk from a local Thai restaurant with the ambience as if you are in Thailand. The rear garden of this restaurant is like nothing I’ve ever seen.
While we weren’t at the house much it was nice to know we had a comfortable bed waiting for us after a day on the town.
Our family of 4 (parents plus 2 adult children) stayed for 3 nights while visiting Wilmington. House is clean, beds are comfortable, kitchen is well-equipped. House is a couple of miles from the waterfront and 20 or so minutes to the beach. Indochine restaurant (just a block away) was terrific.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. We had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in town.
We had a wonderful time on our vacation. The house allowed plenty of space for us to spend time together and still get alone time if we needed it. We made so many incredible memories just sitting around the table and playing games at night. Thank you so much for our amazing experience.
This property was great! I mean we pretty much only slept there but that was definitely good! The beds were comfy! Nice upgrades as well! Especially in the Master bath! I would definitely stay there again!
We were extremely unhappy with communication. I left an expensive camera on the property and did not realize for a few days since we were in the process of moving. When I texted her, she told me that she did have my camera (never contacted me to let me know) and said she would be mailing it. I waited for the camera in the mail and texted a week later to find out she had never mailed it. The underlying issue may have been that we stained the carpet. I had asked her to send me a price for the carpet and that we would be able to sent the payment via venmo but never heard back. When I followed up a week later about my camera she stated she needed the 100$ for the carpet clean and would THEN send it. I asked for a bill before I sent the 100$ and she could not provide that but insisted on the payment and would then go to the post office. This was an extremely upsetting situation. I needed the camera to monitor my newborn and was without it for a week. I was then charged 50$ in shipping costs to mail the camera 2 day mail. She did not offer to cover any of the charge for shipping the item late.
