Mid-Century Splash Pad

It was great,pool was clean and warm and had a wonderful time

First off the property is fine... Not great. I'm writing this review because I let the owner know that the rocking chair mesh was getting torn.. The not so good host charged me to repair it. I am the person who puts the entire deposit down because I know it will be in better shape when I leave! The house looks good in the pics when you see it in person the ceilings all messed up and the cheap countertops with warnings not to get them wet or hot as they are wood and will leave marks. The house is very MODERN but is also a huge pain to stay in. They have covers over the white sofa and all the dishes are not stored in the kitchen you need to go to the pantry to get glasses, DIshes... And most other items. After Arrival we felt a little uneasy after asking them if we could unplug the cameras from the pool area they told us they would just turn the light off. Felt watched the entire time...... Just tell a renter sure unplug it if you feel uncomforable. Enjoyed watching the Gators cruise the canal behind the house. There is a fence so they should not be able to get into the pool area. Seems like there might be some fish in the Canal they might be after. There are two poles in the garage you can fish for them with. FINAL THOUGHTS!! Stay someplace else... If you must stay here... Buy the insurance!!!

The welcome basket was a thoughtful gesture. We were pleased with the property's aesthetics, private outdoor space and pool. The host was responsive and helpful to our inquiries. When an unforeseen circumstance arose and we required an extension to our stay, the host graciously met our needs. We look forward to our next visit !

We found this home to be extremely comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. All beds were very comfortable (even the pull out) and there wasn't much of anything that we needed to get our vacation started. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the home owner went over and above to make sure there were plenty of travel size amenities available if you forgot something (ie., toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, etc). The home is located in an upscale neighbourhood and we felt very safe at all times. If we had any questions for the home owner (Jacquelyn) she responded very quickly and always made sure all issues were resolved asap. If there was a way to make our stay better, Jacquelyn was going to make it her mission to do so!! If we ever find ourselves back in this part of Florida we wouldn't hesitate to rent this home.
