Fort Bragg, California
You won't be able to get closer to the ocean. Our mid-century house features original redwood interiors and breathtaking ocean views. The cottage sits on a 3-acre wooded ocean front property shielding you from the outside world and providing you with the privacy to relax while watching whales passing by.
The amazing unobstructed views have inspired 3 different guests to propose in our property!
This place is way too expensive for what it is. It's small, bad heating, no kitchen really. the photoshoped image there does not really show what it is. Awful!
The view is exquisite. If you are say180lbs or larger you won’t fit in the shower and the place could use some repairs and updates Not as private as we would have liked as there is another home the property but no one bothered us and it’s a very quiet location yet close enough to town for dining etc Had problems with door code and WiFi not the greatest
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this surfside cottage! We were right at home with the tiny-house footprint. It was clean and tidy, and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed the sunsets and punding surf next to the fire pit, and left feeling fully recharged. We'll save this property as a favorite and definitely return.
We were looking for a quiet spot on the ocean. The cabin was cozy. The view, amazing. Sitting on the couch or on either the deck or the patio. weather was great, you could see forever. Awesome at sunset. the crashing waves mesmerizing. You can hear the calming rhythm of the sea when you go to sleep
We spent our honeymoon there. We wanted something quiet and low key. This little place delivered. It is secluded. There are neighbors but we hardly seen anyone. The kitchen is just the basics, but enough if you’re planning on keeping it simple. Everything was clean and in working order. What the cottage lacks in amenities it makes up for with the view! The fire pit on the cliff with a glass of wine (and a beer for my husband) were the best sunsets I’ve had in Fort Bragg. The owner is responsive. He answered all my questions promptly. I will definitely book again if my husband and I can get away without dogs and children. It is definitely an adult retreat.
Small cottage tucked away in the redwoods overlooking a small cove. Beautiful ocean views from the deck. Small kitchen, full sized fridge and comfortable living room. There was a larger house next to the cottage, but no one appeared to be there, so it was very private. I had some difficulties checking in and the owner was quick to respond. A very beautiful stay.
We enjoyed relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine, listening to the waves and watching the birds. It was super peaceful. The bed was cozy. Recently remodeled. Very cute. We used the toaster oven. It worked great. There were two options for coffee, which was provided, including a grinder but we just drove into town for coffee. We have an EV and charged at City Hall for $5 total for 4 hours while we walked around the cute town of Fort Bragg. Great weekend. Needs a wine bottle opener. :-)
Great views
This was a perfect weekend getaway! The photo of the cove & ocean is what sold us on this place. It was so very quiet & peaceful with the ocean waves as our soundtrack. The deck was a perfect spot for coffee in the morning & wine in the evening. I didn’t read all the previous reviews so was surprised by the house next door, but it was unoccupied so it wasn’t a bother. The kitchen is minimal but we were prepared for this. The bed is a true double so it would not work for us for more than 2 nights. I feel that the lighting could be better, it was cloudy while we were there & rather dark in the house, especially the kitchen. Overall a sweet little spot!
The location of this place is awesome! Took my teenage Son and he loved it. Very private and cozy. The owner was very available when I had a question. Perfect spot for 2. And my dog loved it too.
I stayed her as part of my husbands and my honeymoon, it was a quaint home with a beautiful view. We loved being able to hear the ocean and have coffee on the porch with the ocean right in front of us. Raul was very responsive and willing to answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and book again!
Great location, furniture wasn’t bad but dated. Very clean and private.
What a great place. Private ocean view with crashing waves.
This property might not fit everyone's needs, but for us it was perfect! You have to bring what you need extra for your cooking needs, maybe sleeping needs, think glamping! We will be back, we will stay longer, I would buy the place in a heartbeat and not change a thing!
