Mid Century Private Oasis in Historic Movie Colony East

We had a wonderful stay at our beautiful quiet and private Movie Colony mid-century modern home. We were four couples staying for a week. Our accommodation was perfect for us. Four good-sized ensuite bedrooms, large well-equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ area. There was plenty of space to gather or be alone, especially in the multiple outside areas, as we wished. Tony was very responsive to our needs, calling in their pool and yard staff to clean after a distant fire left charred palm fronds in the pool and around the yard, thank you Tony for that! I highly recommend this beautiful property.

The property was clean, features were accurately described, and the home was managed very professionally. Good communication with the host and property manager. Very usable amenities. Great location with a great mix of both privacy and walkability.

Wonderful experience and stay. Host was in touch and welcoming, location was perfect to get to restaurants and events, and home was exactly what a group of us traveling for a birthday celebration needed.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. All the pictures and amenities were accurate. Very secure house, gated and walled in, super private backyard. Well stocked kitchen. Next to Ruth Hardy Park and walking distance to Downtown. The views from the property are amazing. This is one of those properties that we would stay at again. Thank you Devin and Tony for letting us stay at Buena Vista Social Club in the Movie Colony.

Have stayed in MANY places here in PS - and finally found perfection at Buena Vista. Just stop looking - it doesn’t get better than this. Everything was clearly very well cared for. Clean to perfection. So well stocked with all you need to feel at home. Beds - comfortable! The kitchen was so lovely - the back and front yard left me wanting for nothing. Location in PS can’t be beat. This tiny nook is simply magical for night walks past lovely homes with beautiful yards on quiet streets. Also - the house manager Tony was THE BEST!!!Hope to be back again this time next year. Made some amazing memories here!!!

Really enjoyed our time at this unit and had a great time at the pool. It was great for larger groups as every room had their own bathrooms. We had some issues with the housekeeping but the management team were quick to resolve it.Would stay here again!

Six family members for a winter getaway to warm weather. Perfect house for our needs. Loved the pool, the bedrooms, fabulous kitchen equipment. Great location. Tony the property manager was fantastic- friendly and helpful.

Our stay could not have been any better. The house is perfect for a family vacation. House has a great layout and separate baths and closets in all four of the bedrooms. Nicely decorated and a very well stocked kitchen. Outdoor areas and pool also very spacious. Incredible location and walking distance to downtown Palm Springs.Our property manager Tony was very helpful and very responsive to our questions Highly recommend and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Palm Springs.

We voted,unanimously, that this was the best house we've ever rented for our family vacations. The checkin was easy and It was spotlessly clean. The property manager,Tony, was always available with any questions we might have...he even came by with delicious oranges from his tree...very thoughtful. The location is perfect, close to Palm Cyn. Dr., restaurants & shopping. This was our family Thanksgiving holiday getaway...my husband & I, daughter & son-in-law, our 19 yr. old twin grandkids and a friend. Everyone was thrilled with the accommodations, 4 private suites!! The house was very comfortably furnished...the living & dining areas were perfect for watching a movie, playing cards or a game (which was provided). The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms & bathrooms were great...thank you so much for the makeup mirrors!! The backyard was lovely and well furnished for our family...they enjoyed the cornhole game & the putting green, lots of fun. We sat around the fire pit in the evening, to chat about the day & make plans for the next. We can't wait to go back...We give this property 5 Stars!

Best Stuff: The pictures match the experience. It’s a beautiful house with a beautiful backyard. They include all of the amenities which lend itself to a luxury feel. Every bedroom has its own bathroom! And there is a separate powder room too. No fighting over the bathroom necessary here! Tony, the property manager, was fantastic and responsive as was the owner. Also, you really can’t beat this location. The kitchen and bar are fully stocked (minus food and alcohol of course) with everything you could need. The property feels extra safe and private with the access gate to completely escape into your vacation. Bed Rating: The beds are quite firm but did come with plushy pillows with high quality bedding. Detractors: The echo created by the tv or people talking in the living room traveled down the hall to all of the bedrooms. The doors all have a frosted acrylic glass centers which doesn’t stop much noise or much light. It wasn’t a problem for our group’s early risers but was for those who wanted to sleep in and couldn’t. The echo could be limited by getting a bigger rug (it is too small for the furniture anyway) and some other softer surfaces that absorb the noise. The primary bedroom also has two roller shades covering the window/door as compared to the one roller shade that every other window/door has. This let in a little more light than the other rooms so is better for an early riser.

The property had that unique Palm Springs feel & was an easy property to stay in. Everything you could need was there, our stay was a great experience, I wish we could have had more time there to enjoy the property, would definitely recommend the property for a short or extended stay
