Stayed Apr 2, 2026The house is like a blast from the past. Well maintained and looks to be all original. Was able to spend some quality family time with my son and his girlfriend, cook for the family and just relax. Unfortunately it was rainy and cold but who cares when you have family to spend time with.

Stayed Mar 13, 2026We loved our stay at this beautiful MCM home. There are so many unique details at this property. If you like architecture, you can't find a better place. The kitchen is unique and has everything you could need to cook and entertain. Views from the huge windows and the flow of the place made us not want to leave. From early check-in to making adjustments due to severe weather, the host was responsive and helpful. A book on the architect and the house was a nice touch. I feel lucky that we found this place and even luckier that we got to be part of the history of the home even for a short time.

Stayed Dec 29, 2025We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our time together. The beds were comfortable and the quiet spot near Lake Michigan can't be beat.

Stayed Sep 16, 2025A kitschy house in the woods of Wisconsin. We enjoyed Lake Michigan and visiting Kenosha & Racine. The Hob Nob Supper club is practically next door & a fantastic dining experience.

Stayed Jul 12, 2025House has a lot of character. We were overall comfortable and had what we needed. Wish we were away from the busy road but it’s fine. I think some things just looked more worn than in the photos, but it was adequate and owners were responsive when we had a lighting issue.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025Our party consisted of two grandmothers, two parents, 1 teenager, 1 tweenager, and a 25 lb dog. All of us loved the space, with all the nooks for everyone to have alone time and together time as needed. The kids used the pool table and air hockey table so much, which was great because there were no instances of anyone saying they were bored! Each of us enjoyed the screened in porch at different times during our stay. My partner and I both love architecture and design, and this house was a treasure trove of inspiration. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved it.

Stayed Apr 4, 2025I feel like I stepped back in time. The mid century vibe was like a movie scene. This property is great! However it needs a good window cleaning, the landscape is lacking luster for the desired vibe. This house has tons of potential and could be elevated to a whole new level with some love.
